I’m a nail tech and girl you are doing everything great. Seems like you are a professional and really did your research. I think it’s great that people learn how to do their nails at home instead of spending so much money at a salon. It gets crazy expensive and I know some people can’t afford it.

The fact that professionals get mad at her by showing how she does her nails at home is insane, if i wanna do my nails with a nail tech or not is my decision and nobody should feel pushed to do their nails specifically with a nail tech, specially if you can learn to do it yourself…. People need to chill out! Btw Kayli i love you and love your nail method, I’ve been doing my nails now for a while following your videos and the sets lasts a month and they don’t fall! I don’t even watch other creators videos anymore- I’ve learned so much from you and I’ve been doing my nails (acrylic, polygel,) for the last like 5-6 years- trying out gel extensions cause my nails have been growing really well and hate when nail techs clip off allllll my nail growth.

A cuticle cleanup is much easier on your skin if you use alcohol, save the acetone for regular nail polish.

you're paying for our EXPERIENCE, ARTISTRY, KNOWLEDGE and our TIME. We need to be board certified on important things like infection control of things like Staphylococcus aureus. I wonder how many self taught individuals know and think about important things like this.

If the above something you choose not ro respect, you're very welcome to make that choice. But to come on here and discredit the work of artists who spend countless hours working on their craft, please don't. Work a day in the life of being a nail technician/makeup artist/hairstylist, and you will understand the prices.
