I don't understand Xeno Vegito's reason to stop this timeline's Goku and Vegeta initially. This version of Goku and Vegeta had no choice but to fuse because, in each scenario they fused into Gogeta, there was no other way around it. Since Goku couldn't access Ultra Instinct anymore, fusion was the only way to attempt to reach Jiren's level and win the TOP. They had to fuse against Broly because they weren't strong enough to put him down on their own and they couldn't have waited for Cheelai to wish Broly back home. When Goku tries to explain that fusion was the only way to save their universe, Vegito just shuts him down and tells Goku that it's his fault that the TOP was even started.

Now in this timeline of events, I suppose Hyourin could say that in this timeline it was entirely on Goku, but this wasn't the case in the original timeline. Even though Goku did want the tournament to happen, he barely had a say when it came to the rules of the tournament. Goku didn't know about the universes being erased when they lost and he definitely didn't know that original Zeno had initially planned to erase the 8 universes with the lowest mortal levels. If anything, Goku gave the universes a fighting chance to at least save their own universe.

However, Vegito understands that they only fused into Gogeta because they wanted to protect their loved ones by the end of the fight. Overall, this episode was well-made and the animation was on point. The character of Xeno Vegito felt like he was less knowledgeable about this timeline than we're led to believe, but he felt he was doing the right thing by saving the time continuum which I can kind of understand.

I genuinely love how in every other scenario, it would feel like the 1 in the 2v1 is getting the short end of the stick. But they really had no chance in that opening bit where Goku and Vegeta were fighting him.
