ОтветитьI keep coming back to this video whenever I am working on my short game like this. Such great advice and technique I swear it!
ОтветитьI've played golf my entire life and have never been a great chipper because I have NEVER seen it explained this well and clearly. Makes a TON of sense and can't wait to try on the range.
ОтветитьBest technique out there! Has helped my short game for sure.
ОтветитьGood teacher with nice technique thanks
ОтветитьI tried these shots today with my wedges and even my long irons to get out of the jungle and I can't tell you how much of a difference they made. The chipping was so good. Need more practice with distance control but I made atleast 5 pars which would have been bogeys just by trying this type of chipping. I can't thank you enough for this video clay. I've tried everything to chip better and nothing quite clicked quite like this.
ОтветитьExcellent tips. Helped me a lot. Thanks
ОтветитьSo much info. But good stuff! Thank you! I'm new and having a hard time. Lol.
ОтветитьVERY good tut, thanks.
Ответить<😊⁷u⁶
ОтветитьBro I know this dude’s right foot was sore after making this video. He hit it more times that he hit golf balls I think
ОтветитьClay I have an unusual request! I'm having issues with skin cancer on my face so could you tell me where can I get your hat? Ive seen some like yours but they don't cover my face as much as yours. Thanks for the help......Thanks Rick
ОтветитьWhat distance is this viable for?
ОтветитьThe most difficult thing in a game of golf is the short game, this video is the most informative video.
ОтветитьWhere can someone get one of those bands ?
ОтветитьWhat bounce is that 60° you're using on tight lies
ОтветитьThis was unbelievably helpful for me. Whenever I'm in 20-50yd range, I'm thinking. Clay Ballard 60-deg. Thanks!
ОтветитьI was really hoping for tips on shots from the rough. Hits from clean lies could always be better but from the rough is where my issues arise. Much like Clark in the US Open trying to pop the ball up but left it in the rough.
Ответитьgreat video, these are major stroke savers
ОтветитьExcellent Clay! Thanks! 👏👏👏
Ответитьdo you have a video to get out of a sand bunker? also what to do for a fairway bunker? Thanks!
ОтветитьChipping is the most fun part of the game!
ОтветитьSurprised he doesn't get more recognition. Wonderful instructor.
ОтветитьOdd mine comes out double pin height with a 56. However Contact is great and consistency as well! Great vid!
Ответитьwhat club are you using? A, pW, 60, 56, 52?
ОтветитьExcellent video. Some fanatics drills and great advice 👍🏾
ОтветитьHi. I have discovered this Best Chipping & Pitching Drills from Clay Ballard and beleive that by a lot of practice, I will be making more consistant chip and pitch shots this summer. Here in Atlantic Canada, we have to wait until at least mid May to play. Thanks Clay and hope all of you have a good golf 2023 season.
ОтветитьI pitched today at the local driving range and I was hitting over a bunker about 40 yards out with very little green to work with. Used my 60 degree. After practicing the pitching techniques I ended w 10 pitches. I put 7 balls close enough to most likely make if I putted. One was almost holed out and left me a tap in. The 8th one was on the green but I pulled it about 15’ away. The others rolled just off the green past the hole. I was extremely happy with how consistent I got with it in just 30-45 minutes of practice. The key for me was to make sure to rotate through and that resulted in less chunks. Thank you Clay, I’ve got the itch now to play everyday! I’m about a 15 handicap and w the short game lessons from Clay’s videos I think I’m going to be breaking 80 consistently very soon.
ОтветитьExcellent
Ответитьclay ... your a genius. Thank you sir.
ОтветитьVery well done, so is it more of a draw type swing ?
ОтветитьI have duffed and fatted so many chip shots lately and when I do hit the ball with some power, I skull it way past the green then runs out to the back fringe or rough... I am beside myself.
ОтветитьThanks Clay, you are highly appreciated
ОтветитьThanks for the lesson. Helped my short game
ОтветитьBest pitching & chipping technique iv watched so far 👌💯💯
ОтветитьAfter struggling with chipping yips and what felt like total disintegration of my short game for years, this video has reversed everything to the point where I feel like I can make chips. The first part of this video that talks about the 'counter intuitive' motion of dipping your lead shoulder to initiate the move was the game changer for me. It's allowed me to properly use the bounce and go at the ball with speed without worry of digging the leading edge, which is producing a lot of spin. Thanks Clay, this was so helpful. I tried this once and felt it on the first go. Wanted to say thanks, actually excited to hit chips and pitches now :)
ОтветитьWOW - Love this
ОтветитьClay who? Or, who's Clay? Nevermind, I found it....
ОтветитьAppreciate for the lesson , I’m going to practice that so I can improve my chipping game around the green🙏🤙
ОтветитьAwesome----great video. SSS
ОтветитьThis is really good stuff!
ОтветитьOnce u get the feel, then the results, u get totally dialed in. I used to blade chips and pitchs and go over the green. Now I look forward to getting em into tap in range!!! Thanks Clay!!
ОтветитьYour pants must be almost a foot too long
ОтветитьDo you realize how long your pants are?
ОтветитьFantastic. Thanks a lot Clay 🤩
ОтветитьOne Question. You say, open stance and open clubface. Is the swing also out to in? if not, surely the ball will always go right of the target(?) Great video. I have watched it many times and ....getting there. As a hitter I have continual difficulty not swinging my arms at the ball. Still going....
Schaun
Just simply brilliant 👏
ОтветитьI like all of your videos. What hat are you wearing and is it still available anywhere?
ОтветитьClay, would you suggest just using one club when starting out, like the 52?
Ответить
