This is a fantastic lesson. I had lost distance in my 7 iron from 140m down to around 110m. I followed this lesson and am able to hit my 7 iron 160m now. Thank you so much!!
ОтветитьThank you and help a little bit
ОтветитьPlaying off 3 and starting to lose distance so it's getting nervous addressing the ball. Found this helps mate, good work!
ОтветитьWhen I try to free up and relax I top the ball or shank it
ОтветитьI always struggle with distance on my short iron - 8 and below. This is the problem. Thanks.
ОтветитьMy spin rate on my 7 iron is 9000+ . Do I have a similar problem?
ОтветитьReally enjoyed that video Danny, helping me get my swing back on plane 👌🏻 many thanks
ОтветитьInteresting: the angle of attack can be very different, even good players use steeper angles into the ball. Just saw a trackman combine report, with an overall score of 91.1 and estimated HCP +5!
Alle iron shots had around -9 degree AOA, and even the driver had -4.6 degree in average. The score of 91.1 could be one of the best results ever.
Thanks for sharing! I'm only a couple strokes better than Maurice Flitcroft, but your advice has been making a difference.
ОтветитьBest instruction online. Hands down
Ответитьi didn't sky one drive so my angle of attack must have improved. I did make sure that while swinging to the right that my clubface was angled directly where i wanted to go. My iron play was much better and some were much longer too.
Many Thanks
Hi Danny I am 71 and this helped me a great deal and i soon got confident with swinging to the right. I have only played one round using this approach but it was much better
ОтветитьBro u are a god thank you
ОтветитьHi Danny thank you so much for your videos helped my golf so much. Now hitting my 7 iron similarly distance with my 9 iron. How do I get the 7 iron lower and longer?
ОтветитьHello Danny and all! I just found this video and was hoping someone could tell me about the two directional golf balls. If they are two feet forward, how far apart are the balls and what degree angle are they on?? Cheers 🍻 Thanks!! Great video!!
ОтветитьGreat stuff!
ОтветитьWho's distance is 100-110 yards?😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьGreat lesson Danny, I'm going to keep rewatching this one as it's one of your best for going back to basics. 👍
ОтветитьSmart lesson Danny..I hit a money hybrid, then thinned my 7 iron wright in the pond..Got a 7, on a Par 4
ОтветитьShow us what Tom Dicko and Harry done wrong 👀
ОтветитьGood ole Richie
ОтветитьJust broke 100 for the very first time and this video was a big reason why. Thanks Danny. Great Video. Couldn’t have done it without you. 👍
ОтветитьLove it, thank you!
ОтветитьI tried this drill for the first time today and all I can say it’s worked for me! I was trying far to hard and not allowing the club do the work and relax more on the downswing. Fantastic Danny! thank you
ОтветитьOMG! This is awesome! I move my feet, and imagine hitting one ball between two balls. I laid 3 balls out in a triangle position. I kept swinging my arms. I follow your video, using the 7 - Iron techniques. It worked for me . Thanks for this short, helpful easy tip using the 7 Irin.
Ответить11.11
ОтветитьGreat coach!!. Makes golf much more understandable. Thank you very much!
ОтветитьHi, Danny! New sub here, was just wondering what the red/orange square thing was behind you? Specifically what is it called and what is the brand? Thanks!
ОтветитьAnother awesome drill can’t wait to work on this. While my scores haven’t come down below 52 I am striking the ball much better Thanks because the f your videos I feel I’m making progress and learning this awesome game 👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThis video helped me solve my irons problems. I was not hitting anything well. I was too steep and trying to swing to the left thinking this was proper. I went out and hit my Gap and Pitching wedges. I was hitting darts near the pin instantly. I grouped 7 out of 10 balls in a tight dispersion. Suddenly my mind cleared and my motivation returned just by swinging to the right. The club head naturally squares itself and the ball jumps off the face and lofts accordingly and the balls stick where you put it. Of all the golf videos I watched, this one made the most sense to me. I can see my new found ball striking save 10 or more strokes per game. Game changer!
ОтветитьYr videos are amazing...so simple to remember and to practice...iv just took up golf again after ten yrs out...cant wait to get back out on course
ОтветитьI absolutely love the way you teach! You don't try to turn all of us into Iron Byron. You have a way of reading a persons body movements and then coming up with a routine that will get rid of what ever problem they have. Wish I lived in your area.
ОтветитьLooks like i will have to give this a try Danny 👍👍👍. I can always use the extra yardage 😃👍. Thank you for great tips and videos.
ОтветитьIs it just me, or does Danny look a lot like Bear Grylls?
ОтветитьCheers Danny, I reckon I've got the same problem with my swing. I'm far to tense, seem to be wearing out my glove very quickly. I feel like I'm trying to hit the ball instead of swinging through the ball, cheers for that 👍
ОтветитьOmg this is me the classic pull shot
ОтветитьSince I watched your videos and tried out your golfing tips out I’ve improved both times. Getting more consistent and some much needed confidence. Thanks
ОтветитьReally like/enjoy your methods and enthusiasm. After missing golf for 18 months due to reconstructive surgeries from a tennis foot injury. I am trying to return to previous form. Used to be a 12 handicap, currently 18. My focus/key words for every shot are... balance, tempo, contact. Distance is currently irrelevant, though when I swing with good balance and tempo and make solid contact I still maintain similar yardages as before (150-155 yd 7-iron, 175-180 yd 5-iron). So many of your videos feed directly into those thoughts and are helping me eliminate some bad habits and re-gain consistency and confidence. 👍
ОтветитьDanny Danny Danny! aka the swing whisperer! I have recently landed at this same position you are teaching here! Swinging inside and out to the right! Instead of using golf balls as goal posts I visualize a tee out and front of the right of ball. But I like the idea of hitting through the goal posts. As it’s going now I’m getting more confidence and using this WITH course management to pick my line to hit WITH the course ( dog right/left) aka hit and avoid trouble and open up the window of my
landing spot. This is awesome! Thank you!
Hey Danny I just want to say thank you! I have tried many practice drills to correct my over the top swing. I would hit a high towering shot but pull it perfectly straight 5 to 10 yards off target and find myself stepping out of my shot on follow through! I did 5 practice swings with your set up didn't pull a single shot no stepping out and had my first mild draw with 8 iron! Also used the drill with my driver and had good results. Definitely subscribed to your channel! Thank you Heath
ОтветитьMost helpful golf channel I've come across so far....and I literally follow 22 golf channels lmao
ОтветитьHi Danny, 👍👍 one is never to old discovering new insights and improve. Your vids ara like an old bible saying. Try everything and keep te good things. This one is definitely one them that worked.
Looking foward to your next items.
I would hope for dealing with awkward lies!
Just tried this in the garden after a long day shift and after the awkward initial first few steps my swing instantly felt like a proper swing. As I relaxed and started to revert back to a poor line I could see the sweeps in the grass and how much my path had changed. Can't wait to test it out on the range. More reps required to make it my default now. Thanks 👍👍
Ответитьlove this drill !!
ОтветитьI didn't watch the video after seeing Shithead Schumer. They need to do something with the ads.
ОтветитьHi Danny,
Like you client, I also lost a lost of confidence due to not being able to play for around a year, and have now just restarted. However, I am not a long hitter, but am continually frustrated at getting pretty much the same yardage for 7, 8, and even 9 irons. Any tips to manage this?

Excellent video 🙏
ОтветитьThe most important thing in golf instruction is not watching how good the instructor is but UNDERSTANDING what he’s teaching. I understood thIs session. I’ll keep you posted on my next round. Thanks.
