When you have a strong enough vision, you can break all the rules and still have an extremely good movie.

The atmosphere of this film is unlike any of the rest of the series. It is wicked, crooked, witchy, cheeky, folky, ancient... The way magic is supposed to feel.

Alfonso Cuaron’s take on directing potter was absolute genius. Love that he got the three leading stars to do an essay about their characters. Shame this was the final Harry Potter film to be composed by John Williams. This and Order of the Phoenix are the best Harry Potter films in my opinion.

It''s my favorite HP book and my favorite HP movie. I'll never forget reading Prisoner of Azkaban during the summer holidays as a kid. I was staying at my grandparents and could not put the book down, and ended up finishing it during a car ride into town with Grandad. I finished the book and closed it, then just sat there shocked and staring into space thinking about how amazing and intense the entire thing was.

Grandad noticed and asked "what's wrong, not the ending you expected/wanted?" I wish I could remember what I said.
