I’m surprised by a few things in this video. You kept saying that there were piles of garbage everywhere but you must have carefully not filmed any. The streets looked cleaner than in most large US cities…by far. I was also surprised at how few bicycles were on the streets. Seems to me that would be an extremely popular mode of transportation in a so called impoverished nation. I would have thought there would have been throngs of them everywhere. Interesting film. Enjoyed it.

I'm Cuban.. I lived amongst those people.. I was once one of them.. and it brings tears to my eyes that every single day Cuba deteriorates more and more.
Every day that goes by, the country is poorer, every day that goes by people can't afford less basic stuff such as food and medicine, and finally every day that goes by, the people are less and less professionals and good people.

The Cuban government has not only created a country in ruin, but it has also made criminals amongst the society due to the necessity it has created through the lack of a capitalist economy.

Tip for the non Cubans: When you hear the word communisms don't run away from it... FIGHT AGAINST IT, or you'll end up as poor as everyone else.

Despite the widespread poverty and decay, Havana ang the Cuban people are so beautiful. The country is like a diamond in the rough. All they need is a break from relentless American sanctions so that they can prosper.

It’s such a lovely place love Cuba

I left Cuba in 1969, have never returned and will never return until everything is like it was before the revolution. When I see this it makes me sick to my stomach, can not believe Havana is so dirty and rundown, I was born in Santiago de Cuba

Что я должен сказать про улицы Гаваны:
Они спроектированы изначально неправильно! Посмотрите: они очень узкие; на них полностью отсутствуют тротуары - пешеходные дорожки! Фасады зданий смотрят прямо на дорогу, а дорога - тоже очень узкая!
НЕТ СМЫСЛА приводить в порядок этот город! Он не пригоден для удобной жизни. А привести его в порядок просто как музейный экспонат - неоправданно дорого!

What should I say about the streets of Havana:
They were designed incorrectly from the start! Look: they are very narrow; There are no sidewalks or pedestrian paths on them! The facades of the buildings look directly at the road, and the road is also very narrow!

you are wrong on this bro "Housing and basic food rations provided free" we have to pay for our food rations provided by the goverment and we live in our grand grand grand parent houses if you want to move you need to buy one. The only free things here is education and health care but the quality is pretty pretty bad
