Gordon gave her no attitude because he absolutely knew it was his failure to allow that dish to be served. This one was on him, not the cooks.

Half of people like working half of people love working that's all there is to it. When you love something passionately you will fail at times and you accept that right at the start. But you get up every day and every time and give it your all. People that only like something, they don't understand that. Only when things are good are they great in all categories. It's an interesting world.

I'd hate to be a chef, most of these people I would've guessed to be 10 years older than depicted

People need to understand that to be in the kitchen means you have to handle being under pressure every second of the hour. And most people in the world just can't do that. Especially when the situation calls for you to juggle around other people's stations because they got kicked out.
