The first time that I listened mr. Wilson wasn't in Genesis... was in "Roses", in a invitation of a german band. He sounded very well, with his voice, taking the music like its owner. He has a impressive personalitty during the music.

Saw him live only with an acoustic guitar and his voice in a very small pub in berlin, without any kind of amping his guitar. He played genesis songs and the best ones from the calling all stations! One of the best gigs ever. This fantastic album is imho the most underrated album in the nineties

Great, great performance! Can't say the same about the mixing though: strings and keyboards could have been brought up just a bit. But what a great band and a great singer. In a perfect world, Genesis did more albums with Ray.

This is yet another Banks/Rutherford masterpiece and this performance does them proud. Full of existential angst and spine tingling chord structure. What a fantastic voice Ray has. He suited the sound of Genesis perfectly and in my opinion this album sits proudly alongside the rest of their back catalogue.
