My favourite Disciple. He lived and saw it all happen behold his eyes. In terms of authenticity, he is a witness to Jesus from ministry and to his death at Calvary. He spent his final years in exile on the island of Patmos and received Revelations in his dreams beholding Jesus returning to earth as the Alpha and the Omega,. His Gospel is written in a manner different the other accounts and the philosophical and metaphoric manner is filled with the Love of the Holy Spirit. God Bless you John.

I think I understand why John the Apostle live the longest, and didn't died from by persecution, he stayed with Christ at the Cross, And yes I know he was killed multiple times; but Christ keep John alive for him to write the Book of Revelation for fate of Humanity.
