I revisit Greg’s Cyberpunk explainer about once or twice a month. It’s such a succinct explanation of what the genre is (or at least a reading of it) and helps put a lot of the media that purports to be “cyberpunk” into focus.

The Dubbed version for cyberpunk is valid. any other anime it's a bit eh. It's just that the quality of the dubs aren't that good, but cyberpunk is actually a good dub

I read somewhere that Lucy's surname refer to Kushinada-hime, the wife of Susanoo...and the snake might refer to both Orochi and the literal dragon that is Adam Smasher. And the sword could be Kusanagi

I ended up making the Nicola Classic Syrup and it turned out great, but couldn’t get ahold of the Violet candies unfortunately. After a while of trying to find a substitute I ended up with a floral gin (Compass Gin Royal, which is purple) to try and substitute. Ended up doing 1.5oz of the gin, 0.5oz of the NC syrup, and 0.5 oz lemon with club soda to top it. It’s no where near the recipe at this point, but it’s probably one of the best cocktails I’ve made from scratch.

As a subtitle purist I gotta say this anime has one of the best dubs in anime I easily prefer it

Cyberpunk is its own genre, but I'd argue it's a mix of Dystopia and Sci-fi if you really want to boil it down.
