Hey Midwest I got a question if I could only get on wrench set should I get the snap on flank drive plus or just their regular version?
ОтветитьYou need to watch Justin's video. He actually said a lot of good stuff about you. Threw a ton of compliments your way. He just said he disagrees with you on this topic. Definitely no reason to get mad at him.
ОтветитьSo you have lots of money 💰 🤔 don't dis cheaper tools. You stepped in it. Maybe talk about the benefits of a particular tool. Theres nothing wrong with cheap tools. Tell VGG cheap tools don't work. Come on, thats bull. You apologize then bemone cheap tools.
ОтветитьOld school mechanic here, in my years of tools experience, it all about the quality not the quantity in tools, and what tool brand you can get out there, especially high end tools at a good price. And you got alot of tools. But good opinion your part. 😊👍
ОтветитьYou’re just a little kid. This video wasn’t needed. Your content has gone down the drain
ОтветитьIt's all good your both good dude's let it roll Brother! It's all good 👍
ОтветитьTrolls definitely at play here. However, I would have watched Justin's video prior to your response, so that you could have attacked the issue from an educated standpoint.
ОтветитьSo dramatic... Academy award... Gtfo
ОтветитьDon’t let them get you down!! Like your stuff, and like your acquisition of tools.
ОтветитьThe only thing I would say snap-on, proto, Mac, sk are far much better tools then harbor freight. Not because of the metal but because they are made USA. When I buy snap-on is not because of quality or price but because someone in this country has a job. Keep buying USA before they are gone to existing.
ОтветитьJust like high school all over again have a good night man.
ОтветитьNo Montgomery Wards?
ОтветитьAfter years of use, my Snap On impact sockets have shown quite a bit of wear, both on the drive end and the hex end. Can confirm that their material is a little softer, but I wonder if that helps prevent cracking or shattering of the socket? Don't recall ever breaking one over the years. Seems like a harder material would wear better, but may be more brittle 🤔
ОтветитьNever heard of Justin Dow.
ОтветитьDid I miss the jack restoration or is that still ongoing?
ОтветитьI think Justin saw an opportunity to have a conversation about opposing viewpoints on something and even if it wasn't about him, he wanted to chime in. He wasn't being disrespectful at all, however the people who have nothing better to do decided to take the opportunity to stir up some BS to give you some grief. Justin's a good channel, and I'll be watching both of you. There's also nothing wrong with being stern and setting the record straight, that goes to both of you. I don't think there's beef here. That's just me I hope you both solve it.
ОтветитьI’ve found through the years when I went the cheap route I was buying the name brand a couple years later. A lot of time spent on the weekends setting at an auction bidding on used name brand. If I couldn’t find it in great used condition I bought them new. Some cheap tools will get the job done. An example is craftsman wrenches. I have an assortment of wrenches but find when I don’t need a ratcheting wrench I tend to grab the old school craftsman. The reason is the loose fit 12 point. When I’m under an engine and need to loosen a bolt that a socket won’t fit and I don’t want to spend an hour trying to fit a six point tight snap on wrench where a cheap craftsman does the job so much faster…. I’m from the class that a 12 point totally out ranks a 6 point in a road box …. It’s all about feel …. If ya can’t tell that a bolt is gonna strip don’t need to be working on it. And yes I will never buy a Pittsburg wrench unless I have an 8 year old that needs to have a play set and even then I probably would go with the Stanley’s first … that’s just my take … if you got the tools to do the job you need done is all that really counts at the end of the day …
Ответить"Can't we all just get along " I respect both of you. It was just a misunderstanding no biggie. I like your videos and find them very informative, thank you.
Ответитьi mean if you can share an opinion about tools other people should be able to share what they think even if they are wrong and dumb
ОтветитьJustin Dow is the village idiot
ОтветитьClassic Captain Picard facepalm....lol
ОтветитьYeah like I said earlier, people don't usually acquire tools on a "as I can find a unicorn deal" basis, but more on an "as needed" basis, so when you're done checking ebay and you know the pawnshops aint got it, you find yourself at o'reilley or autozone or harborfreight or home depot etc to get something workable, and then you find that tool fits your needs and holds up so you never shop more, or you later replace when the unicorn deal does show up. Headhunting for better than regular deals should be a skill that mechanics and tool acquirers hone as well, so I agree, but disagree that "everyone can do it at any old time", that doesn't really happen even though you probably didn't say exactly that.
ОтветитьI love you dad.
ОтветитьTaco Bells, yes the fast food joints, in South Florida also sell tools and I find their Mierda brand to be good. Plus it's cool to be able to buy Tacos and some wrenches.
ОтветитьI don’t buy cheap tools or made in China. But hey, that’s my choice. I buy USA, Japan, Germany and a few Taiwan. I also buy oem parts for my Subaru. Again, just my preference. Everyone, do you. Buy what works for you. It should never get personal. Ad hominem, no good. I have my reasons for buying higher end tools. And I don’t have money to burn. I am looking at Sunex, and some other offshore brands. Not a snob. Thanks
ОтветитьFirst time watcher due to this situation and it’s funny because I too watched wrench everyday and that episode. I watch Justin as well. It would be embarrassing if he though specifically you were attacking him. You didn’t say his name specifically. Hhhmmm. 🙃
ОтветитьBro, you're just a tool collector. You are very good at finding great deals, I am very impressed. But at the end of the day you are just a collector, not a wrench turner. Keep those jewels nice and shiny!
ОтветитьIt’s ridiculous to get butthurt without watching the video and then responding to it.
ОтветитьAnyone who watches (and listens) to your channel knows that you are a very wise and disciplined buyer (very patient also)! And it is also obvious that you really, really enjoy it and therefore, your successful! Just keep doing your thing; there is no need to engage those who do not understand.
ОтветитьJustin Dow is just Drunk posting vids. I mean common man have a beer and chill out.
ОтветитьWhat's the point of buying used tool truck tools if you can't warranty them????
Ответитьsunex grey pneumatic olsa for me
ОтветитьThe best thing to do is each person buy the tools they want and gets the job done for them I've broken alot of cheap sockets and wrenches over the years so I did go snapon for 3/8 and 1/2 drive sockets and matco wrenches to each their own
ОтветитьI subscribed to your channel after I found it threw Justin's keep videos coming thanks
ОтветитьNice nepros ratchets
ОтветитьDon't forget, there's a difference between cheap and inexpensive. 👍🏻 love your videos and this one is no exception. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьI remember wrench everydays Video
ОтветитьNot even sure how Justin Dow Got Involved in this
ОтветитьYour like Me Got every Brand Of Tools You Can Think of
ОтветитьI never saw you call out any channel let alone Say the name The First time Annoying how Viewers create rumors and issues for us
ОтветитьVery well said Brother
ОтветитьYou both are good guys but if you don't know what someone said that you shouldn't make a video about it I'm just saying how stupid can someone be to comment on somebody that you don't know what they said just saying
ОтветитьAboutBosthich tools
ОтветитьKeep up the good content....I think you have a good thing going
ОтветитьHe's a down on his luck, not super bright guy. You can't debate with or even talk civilly to him. All I'm saying is at work if a guy rolls in with a Black and Decker kit, or a Royobi kit I think he's a fly by night. Invest in yourself! After bering a so called professional mechanic dude needs to barrow a roll cart.
ОтветитьThis is what I try and preach... It takes some time to build a collection of quality used tools but it's worth it! Even when it takes you until old age to get there lol
ОтветитьYou don’t need to explain yourself. I watched Justin videos and yours and I never got the vibe you were calling him out or saying he was wrong in his video or anything like that. You are showing people there is another path on getting high quality tools. I get it.
Ответить
