It would be cool if we saw Iron Order 1919, it’s a strategy mobile game that focuses on a completely alternate WW1, where the Entente and Central Powers break up, the US breaks apart and the Russian Empire does the same, it focuses on the fact that the war didn’t end until the late 1920s and that most of the world was left in crumbles, and also that every nation started producing giant mechs and advanced technology.

Red Alert 1 and 2 were so good. I remember buying 3 on launch and being so disappointed. Also, Westwood was acquired by EA before 3 came out.

I don't think the time line of fire on the mountain would end well. Without the uniting factor of the union freeing the slaves. The North and the free black states would likely be in constant war. There is a lot of race anger and violence today even with how the civil war turned out. Do you really think a collection of frie black states would not end up in confect with the North or the English colonial power.

If anyone gets a chance, do try and see the USCGC Eagle. It is the metal-hulled vessel in the S M Stirling series, won as war spoils from WW2. The vessel is worth studying because the technology advanced ship design.

The number of alt history that is just completely impossible scenarios to bash some part of history they don't like or what if the Confederacy won but they weren't willing to enslave people (aka they just separated from the Union over an system they were worried about losing for nothing)
