I stopped paying attention to CNN with Chris Licht's 2023 Trump townhall followed by Anderson Cooper's condescending excuses.

I don't know why he made such a big deal about all that. It's not as if it had any implications about honesty in media reporting, is it?

He is right that it is the end of society and democracy. Trump misuses such examples to portray CNN and others for doing fake news because the relationship between media and some politicians were a bit too neat and the relationship too close. CNN basically believed the White House without checking them.

Today, on 6/09/2023, CBS reported the 38 indictments against Trump and then I saw this little bit of comical history and it was like you foresaw Trump constantly sliding off the scales of justice amd getting away from everything.
