I'm just a bedroom hobbyist guitar player. Until now I had some 20yr old Yamaha Pacifica and budget Ibanez RG121EX.
Today, I bought RG320EXZ. Man this thing is a beast compared to these two. All my metal presets finally actually sound metal.
I don't think I'll ever regret this purchase.

Is it any better than the previous model rg421ex bkf. Seems the same. Same body, pick ups. The only difference seems to be the tremolo. I mean, if there is practically no difference, it makes sense to get rg421ex bkf and save some money.

I can't find my RG420WK (anywhere) online. Honestly, do people hate the damned thing? I've had mine in a case for years, only to bring it out to dust it. It's in mint condition with no scratches or marks or fret-wear of any kind. It has been plugged in to an amp only twice. It's been discontinued, and no more information is readily available about it. I wonder if it can actually be a rare one.

I accidentally found a nice deal on a quasi new 7 string Ibanez. Ever since I am an ibanez fanboy, and likely all my new guitars will be Ibanez made.

I'm seriously looking at this as my third Ibanez. I would change the pickups out for Dimarzio Titans for a more Progressive Metal sound. I do wish it came in different finishes.

just got it it's insanely good for that price and the bridge is more stable than a fixed one lol also super fast thin fretboard 9/10 overall the only down for me is the shape since im more into pointy guitars

I own an RG420EG and after removing the plastic pickup covers (because they became loose and annoyed the hell out of me) i noticed the pickup up poles are wildly out of alignment with the strings. Why is that? The neck p/u more so than the bridge. I never noticed when i purchased it brand new that both pickups are now noticeably off centre. What is going on here? Any help is much appreciated.
