How to make a manga cover
Ответитьthis is very educational this could help me become a good comic book artist someday.
ОтветитьThe information in your videos are so good, glad i found this channel
Ответитьhow do you make a story into a oneshot. In Bakuman when they came up with a story they turned it into a oneshot so they could enter a competition.
Ответитьcan you do a "seinen manga" please?
ОтветитьA topic that would be nice would be how to write female leads. I read mostly shonen manga and I have noticed that female leads are generally quite weak as characters. They often contribute to the plot a lot less than other major characters and are often reduced to love interests with little else of significance. It is quite frustrating because the rest of the cast is usually much more interesting and developed and it makes writing your own female leads all the more difficult due to good examples being more difficult to find.
If you could consider tackling this topic at some point and possibly hinting towards some series that have good female leads it would be very appreciated. Love your work and it was nice to have you back.

ОтветитьMy question for years has been WHAT THE HELL IS FREIZAS MOTIVATION? He’s evil just “because” and he’s so damn good that nobody even cares
ОтветитьNot only getting stronger but also smarter
Power counts as multiple thing not only strength or smarts.
There is a new original concept I have of the protagonist killing his mother to smash his adoptive sister.
He then turns into a bird so he can watch over his sister.
And his friends congratulate him for saving the world by killing 80% of the people.
I will also give any
Resembles of character growth as a red herring.
The protagonist stays the same character throughout a series.
I will appeal to the shippers
To get away from character development .
Also the protagonists sister takes his head off and carries it with her to show true love. This is done to appease the high intellectual shipping fans.
Then it is revealed the protagonist had no free choice and he was moved by the heroine of 50 shades. Only by seeing him beheaded the heroine from 50 shades can be free.

ОтветитьHey i need your help ,how to protect my manga if i told alot of my story to someone else ,i already do the drawing and writing but sometimes that person helps me in story gaps ,how to secure my work just in case?!
ОтветитьAkamegakill made character development is incredible...
Characters are alive then become dead
1. I agree with almost everything in this video
2. I have no respect for the 5 people who disliked this video
Omni man.
ОтветитьI think that it's important to differentiate between character development and character progression. Character development is the process of building a believable and engaging character whereas character progression refers to a character's change over time. While progression can help in building a good character it's completely different from the development. Also character development is always necessary, progression isn't
ОтветитьI understand the knowing the outcome but that's what makes it funnier because we know and the characters don't. Dramatic Irony. It's meant to be a comedy so everything else is just a plus (One punch man not SAO)
ОтветитьHow about hotaro from hyouka
ОтветитьI love ur vids
ОтветитьThe Video: *Talks about Developing Antagonist and refers to actual characters*
My Story: *The Antagonist is the world itself* xd
Edit: the world is not a villain, is an antagonist because my protagonist's character development is directly connected to facing the world's truth.
Now I can finally write my One Direction fan fiction, thank you.
ОтветитьI’m sorry I heard one direction fan fiction and lost so much
Ответитьdo you have to have an antagonist tho im tryin to make a protagonist who is battleling his own battles with himself or more like in his mind and have no idea if a villian is needed for that
ОтветитьPlease
Don't put spoilers from other animes in your videos
Because I just have to put my earphones out getting out of so much spoilers you give to your audience
Or else your channel is perfect!
So, uh, about One Punch Man... I'd say it is literally THE perfect example on how to write a good story with an overpowered protagonist. My favorite moments from OPM aren't those in which Saitama is punching monsters, they are those in which Saitama is teaching Genos a moral lesson. Or in which he's inspiring people, like King. Or even being inspired by some of them, like Mumen Rider.
OP protagonists can work greatly if you have a solid and well established cast of secondary characters. If you read/watch ONE's (the author of OPM) other famous work, Mob Psycho 100, you'll see it follows pretty much the same formula: an amazingly overpowered protagonist with a monotonous personality and boring design, but who is able to influence the lives of people around him, who are all three-dimensional characters with vastly different backgrounds, in such peculiar ways that it makes for an incredibly interesting story.
So personally, I watch/read Mob Psycho and OPM not because I wanna see Saitama the hero, or Mob the esper. I do it because I want to see Saitama the person and his hero friends, and Mob the person and his esper friends. And if Saitama or Mob fight in some chapters/episodes, well, at this point I know I can trust that the author will find a way to make it interesting.
One Punch Man is a story about a guy who became so overpower that lost a part of his reactions to things, that's what moved the story foward, at least in the beginning.
ОтветитьOne Punch Man sucks when Saitama is in focus but it's great when it focuses on the other cast members.
ОтветитьBut Saitama's personal story arc in OPM isn't about fighting. It's about him dealing with his depression from how boring life is now.
ОтветитьI think I watched everything on your channel. Took me under 24 hours. Man… thank you so much for this info. Took a ton of notes and I’m just blown away by all this helpful info. Seriously thank you
Ответитьone punch man a parody? that new chapter changes everything
ОтветитьI have an idea for a mc in my manga, were in the beginning of the manga the mc is a selfish and apathetic person, but experiences a reality check once his brother dies and becomes more of an empathetic and likeable character.
ОтветитьIve been wanting to write a manga called hidden shadows, and it was rusty at first. But thanks to,I’ve made 2 out of the 4 main characters. (One of them is guy called Ren, and the other is called miyuki. I thank you with all my heart!! You deserve to have a million subs
ОтветитьThese foil characters look like they could work well
ОтветитьThanks for all the spoilers shown in the video :)
Ответить"It can be easier to based your characters of of people you know irl"
Me making my MC's friends: cries because i lost most of my good friends because of my own behaviour
i like to draw, while i'm listen to your videos, thanx for that man
ОтветитьDoes not like one punch man because you know the outcome? That’s literally every shonen story yet you still read them. It’s not about knowing that the main character always wins, it’s about the story that happens in between and around the MC. Think Luffy or Goku.
ОтветитьThanks for all the spoilers shown in the video :)

ОтветитьI have a contreversial view, I saw you said Baam (from tower of God in the picture) was just a simp/yes man, but think about it this way, Baam wakes up like a baby and the first person he sees is Rachel, his motherly figure. It's like saying a baby has no reason to follow and listen to everything his mom says. Baam wakes up with the mind of a baby, he knows nothing, until Rachel starts teaching him. If a mother abandoned her child, wouldn't the child go after her? Baam IS that child, he knows nothing else than Rachel and what she taught him. Wouldn't it make sense that she is his reason to live? A baby can't think for himself yet, so his only reason to live is his mother. Baam risks his life for all he has ever known. In the webtoon, he later starts realising that he is not alone anymore, and that what Rachel did was wrong. He stops chasing after her and found another reason to live, his friends. I think Baam is a really good character that also impacts the series as a whole, like without him, the whole series wouldn't exist, everything, the hirarchy, would stay the same. Geeze, I just realised how long this is, but if you read this, would you mind pinning this, cause I want others to know that things aren't always what they seem with characters and how they progress over the story.
