This is truly amazing > thank you for putting the effort to produce this video.
I currently found my Star Wars toys (40 figures with accessories and back cards + a set of ships with original boxes ... all bought in between 1979-1982). I also have an Oscar movie poster from then 1970´s. It will take some time to get a decent market value for these items!
Oh, that's his visor and NOT his hair?!
ОтветитьBoth my 3po,s still has all the lims attached
ОтветитьGeorge literally decided to start the prequels right when Kenner lost their license
ОтветитьI liked the dignitary
ОтветитьWow! Fantastic collection, are all these yours?
I'm from Argentina, and I had the original 12 figures. Still have them !!
My dad has a ton of these figures that used to be in box but a neighbor opened them all. Still it’s super cool that he has all these Kenner toys
ОтветитьAll the Ewok names are wrong outside of Wicket, lol. The Ewoks rocked!
ОтветитьThat math does not seem correct 😅
ОтветитьWith hindsight, the double telescopic lightsaber would have made far more sense than what we got. It ignites from his hand and then gets thinner and thinner as is reaches its tip. When you lose the middle part of the telescopic feature is is just a thick blade with a much thinner tip added. The later hand held lightsabres were more straightforward and accurate, but I've never realised how ingenious those originals were in the way they replicated the lightsaber lighting up. Much better than simply holding a yellow, or green stick.
ОтветитьSlave Leia and Grand Moff Tarkin please. We had to wait forever to get those.
ОтветитьOld white guys!! So your saying old black guys are better figures? 🤔 😂😂😂 Grand Moff Tarkin is an old white guy & his awesome!! As is Kenobi an old white guy my friend!!😉😂😂🤠👍
ОтветитьPrune face is a hilarious name he looks exactly like a prune!! 😂😂 I love the names like Hammerhead, squidface etc. We got so many cool aliens!! Droopy McCool is also hilarious!! 🤣🤣🤣🤠👍
Person who made all these names in Star Wars is an all time legend & deserves a bonus $$$ Skywalker what a classic name!!
I believe Luke had a green lightsaber version for the ROTJ action figures...also has anybody ever mentioned why Luke's saber was yellow as opposed to blue
ОтветитьAh, Young America, Minnesota. The place where all of my childhood dreams lived.
ОтветитьYak face was everywhere in OZ. I still remember as a kid going to toy world and walking up the back to find a massive box of discount Star Wars toys and seeing 95% of the box full of Yak Face.
ОтветитьTo me Walrus Man will always be Butt Mouth.
ОтветитьFantastic Video!
ОтветитьReal talk. When I was a kid my cousin had the Mattel Colonial Viper toy. My stupid ass did a Death Star trench run and fired a bullseye into my mouth. The missile bounced off the back of my throat and back into my mouth so it didn't get stuck thank God. I remember at that very moment thinking "Wow that was really stupid." This was well before I'd ever heard about the kid who died from that.
ОтветитьPlease stop being racist by making fun of old white guys.
ОтветитьGreat video! I think your history of Blue Snaggletooth may be a little off though. From drawings/info on The Star Wars Collectors Archive website, the initial design for Blue Snaggletooth was created early 1978. The "Cantina Creatures" were designed using only head shots of costumes, which is why they made Blue Snaggletooth tall (he is tall in the film by the way). However, the Holiday Special (Nov '78) depicted Snaggletooth as short and wearing a red costume. So, the figure was quickly changed to match the picture for the card art of Red Snaggletooth that was released in 1979.
ОтветитьMade in Coalville Leicestershire at the palitoy factory
Ответитьahem actually… The B-wing pilot is not a repainted A-wing pilot.
ОтветитьFirst three Ewoks are in the wrong order, the first one shown is Logray, then Teebo, then Chief Chirpa.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this. I can remember like it was yesterday where I got each and every figure I had. I gave my little brother my figures when I grew out of them. The last few years I have been re collecting them and have just 3 more to go before I get the full set. The love I have for these toys is still so strong. Other toy lines came and went but Star Wars was my childhood.
ОтветитьWell, OK, you misidentified all but one of the 8 Ewok figures (Wicket). I don't know if that was deliberate or not (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it was -- though you could've at least not flip-flopped Paploo and Lumat with Warok and Romba). Given you pointing out the variants in the Luke and Han figures, I wish you'd also alluded to Original Lando's later version of having teeth painted on it... and the fact that 'brown snake Yoda' also had darker skin than 'orange snake Yoda.' It should also be noted that the 2 Klaatus (KLAH-too, not KLAY-too) are actually 2 different characters in SW canon -- the regular one actually being named Wooof, and the 'skiff guard' variation being the true Klaatu (I won't get into mentioning all the other canonical retroactive names given to other figures/characters, such as Hammerhead, Walrus Man, Squid Head, etc.). Ditto the mix-up regarding the names of Zuckuss and 4-LOM (4-L-O-M, not 4-lom). Otherwise, good video.
ОтветитьHow dare you?! R5-D4 fucking rules.
Ответитьgreat video!! i love all these classic figures! i got to see one of the original rocket firing boba fett’s at celebration a few years ago with a whopping $275,000 price tag on it. 😮
ОтветитьReturn of the Jedi was actually the original title. It changed to Revenge, but went back to Return before release. Great video. Love the display.
ОтветитьI share your chagrin as to Grand Moff Tarkin never getting a figure, no idea why, he probably had the most lines of any imperial character in the first film!?
General Riekan in TESB?!?
I also wondered in ROTJ why General Madine got a figure and Mon Mothma didn’t….
Oof, you had me until you said "Greedo shot last."
ОтветитьAll those Toymakers and Film Studios that turned Star Wars down
ОтветитьAnyone else have Darth Vader's head easily fall off? I think I went through 3 of them.
ОтветитьGreat video! I hope you have a video about the newer line of figures? I was a fan of the classic figures as a kid but as an adult have really become a collector, but only if the post 1997 or so figures
Ответитьleia bounty hunter ?
ОтветитьWith the amount of times u said old white guy in this film im wondering if bree larson has you held captive or if this is her impersonating an old white guy cuz u sound like u r an old white guy lol
ОтветитьYoda was never blacked out on the card backs.
ОтветитьI'm gonna be honest... the ewoks are some of my favorite figures and characters😅
ОтветитьLoved watching this video, brought back a flood of memories. Can you tell me where you got the large stand in the back? The frame and the cards behind it are amazing. I’ve got the entire collection of figures and this wound be perfect for them.
ОтветитьBoush: BOOSH, BOWSH, BOSH..which is it?
ОтветитьWe all hate the Star Wars Holiday Special, but as a 7 year old kid I loved it back then.
ОтветитьThat shelf you have is glorious, my friend, absolutely beautiful to my 53 year old eyes. ✌️🤩
Ответитьabsolutely love this!!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьNice video! You had a few of the Ewok names mixed up (Chief Chirpa, Teebo, and Logray).
ОтветитьIs there a place we can download or purchase the bsckground used in the case? That thing is great!
ОтветитьGreat video, but sounds like a antifa meeting with the old white guy comments
ОтветитьI lived in rural Ireland and in the late eighties my local pound shop(discount store) got a load of original empire and Jedi figures , I spent every bit of money I had buying all these figures, the owner even gave a few freebies .
