Here are the new rules in finalkvalet in Mello 2025:
ven the layout of the final qualification itself looks different in 2025. The entry that receives the most votes in total, when the number of votes in the sub-competitions plus the number of votes in the final qualification is counted, goes on to the final. This means that the entries that receive many votes in their sub-competition and go to the qualifiers have an advantage. Also, only one song qualify for slutkvalet, one of the non-finalists with the most votes.

Since the public vote has the "Global vote" from non-participating countries, there's no longer a true 50/50 split between the jury and the public vote.

Friends Arena is now called Strawberry Arena.
Globen is called Avicii Arena since a few years.
Tele2 arena will soon be 3Arena.
