I wonder how reliable it will be in the longer term.

One thing I noticed after testing the repair is the touch screen was extremely accurate and sensitive compared to stock. It calibrated easily and worked better than stock- strange, but definitely an added bonus..

hi chad ,i have a hds9 gen 3 that flickered a few times then went dead and now wont turn on , any ideas please ? my power supply is fine as powers a hook 7 ground is fine battery is new ,12.7v -14.2v running ,cant go fishing without it =(

I need a screen for a lowrance reveal 9 TS

Is the lowrance hdi 9 and the lowrance reveal 9 digitizer the same? They both have the same exact specs and resolution.

so navico owns simrad, b&g, lowrance, but when I called simrad they said I could not buy any repair parts out of warranty , same with B&g, but someone told me you can still get out of warranty parts for lowrance? Would you know about his by any chance? I like the idea of repairing something rather then being told i have to buy a whole new unit..this new business model sucks like a vampire starving for blood!!

So when these touch screens go out do they not sell replacements? My gen 2 touch was working great I cleaned it off with glass cleaner now nothing on the touch screen works zero moisture on the inside just a dead touch screen. The ribbon contacts look clean

Is it feasible to replace the touch with a universal 5-pin resistive using the original attachments?
