it's the truth ... they were never just friends; they loved each other so much and it was an infinite sadness to see Naruto married to a woman he doesn't love just for pure fanservice .. the same goes for Sakura who finds herself married to a man who has never felt anything sentimental towards him; even though it may seem strange, I believe that not even now Naruto has never stopped having feelings for her, simply for him Sakura's happiness comes first.
