ОтветитьI have a HP printer same issue bought a bottle of black ink and a syringe there are little hole beneath the label on the cartage just refill and it works fine it depends some time it somehow detects and i have to buy a new one after a month but my last one if working for past 2 years
ОтветитьI thought everyone knew this?
ОтветитьNever buy Canon or HP printer. They are the worst as far as ink cart. That's my experience. Epson are better in term of cost per page compare to most.
ОтветитьAMEN❣
ОтветитьGet a brother printer
ОтветитьEverythings a SCAM. Welcome to the party
ОтветитьWhat a scam!
ОтветитьDon't regularly print for a couple of weeks? Dried/clogged cartridge, screw you pay for another. The old inket cartridges held way more ink ml like 50ml. The modern ones are like a paltry 3ml. You can of course refill your own but the companies now go to unbelievable lengths to prevent you from doing this by putting several roadblocks in the way. In my case I just turned off bi-directional print support so the printer can't communicate with the computer and serve up it's constant nagware. Always bought the xl cartridges to have more refill capacityy (only difference is sponge size). Refilling your own is a finicky messy process, and much harder for the colour because if you overfill the colour chambers all will get mixed together in a psychedelic mess forcing you to chuck the cartridge. I only use single cartrdge mode 99% of the time because otherwise it wastes colour cyan ink (to make blacks look better yeah right) and if one colour chamber is empty it doesn't matter if the other two chambers are full....screw you buy another colour cartridge, then there are also all the alighnment and test pages wasting paper and precious little ink. It's borderline illegal and a total money rinse.
ОтветитьWell we know that ink cartridges are the way to make money..... 😅😂
Ответитьi have the ecotank 2720 best investment ever no stress
ОтветитьThanks buddy for an eye opener on printer cartridges.Electronic industry is responsible for the most global wastage. What happened to the golden 3R of sustenance? Reduce, Reuse and Recycle? They must stop abusing end customer's money and global economy.
ОтветитьDon't be worried; I've had mine for over a year now...we're very big on printing and I haven't yet had to refil it. My tanks are not even half empty yet!
Ответитьthis is because of the printer not being 'ink efficient'. i had a normal one, same result 1 week ink over. But now i have a supposedly 'ink efficient' printer which is actually good and not that expensive (i got 700+ prints compared to like 100). In india i got it for 9k rupees or around 100$ (usd)
ОтветитьUse ink tank
ОтветитьI use my eco tank since about 5 years. Still working.
ОтветитьReally should sue them for false advisement and scamming customers
ОтветитьI enjoy the canon printer which is 100$ or less. Just drilled the cartridge and use syringe to refill when they run dry. Not recommending canon to anyone but I can survive with those scam cartidges lol hahaha.
ОтветитьHey, Fs. I have a had an ET-2650 for probably 7 + years now and this thing has never failed me. I even threw it in abox and moved from NYC to Florida and it survived and is still serving up the prints. I'll never go back to those old carttridge type printers. Thanks for the vid.
ОтветитьI have a similar story to tell.
I purchased an HP printer like 7-8 years back and it also has this cartridge system.
And the cost of these cartridges is so much that for 3 sets of cartridges , you can get a whole new printer.
In other words , they are 1/3rd the cost of the printer.
And quality wise they cartridges are so bad that if you don't use them for some time , the ink dries up and it's useless without you having taken full benefit of it.
So basically think of it having an unspecified expiration date. If you use it within a couple of months then you get the benefit of it but if you don't , then it will just dry up and be useless.
I'm someone who needed a printer for home use and only once in a while I print some documents or forms.
So that's why I opted for that cheap HP printer but the ink cartridges prices made my experience a nightmare.
I explained the situation to my mom and told her that we need a new printer , the ink refilling cost of which is low but she says that we don't need it and she still continues to buy the overpriced cartridges.
I feel helpless and don't know what to do.
I used to refill the cartridge using syringes and it worked, lasted for 2 years. Not necessarily buy new cartridges every week. I have printed almost 5000 - 6000 Pages using single cartridge.
ОтветитьF canon
ОтветитьI was using canon ip 2770 I only change the cartridge when it have printing issue.
when it out of ink I just drill a small hole for needle to inject third party ink into it. the result is as good as new one.
bruh I even try to fix the cartridge, most of the time it just work after soak the bottom in warm water after 5-10 minutes.
$50 is kinda expensive here and the third party ink just like $3 or $5
also, i have 3 of these printer with 1 of them are the working and 2 other are broken. i keep it just for the parts
I believe the one that still working have like 4-5 other printers parts in it. it was 8 y/o machine after all and I plan to still use it for another 8 years.
After they rip you off for ink, the printer will clog up and be useless.
ОтветитьRazors started this scam decades ago when they sold you the razor extremely cheap just so they could sell you replacement blades at a huge markup.
ОтветитьIf it uses ink it's garbage and a rip off.
ОтветитьIn my situation, I sadly have to have my own printer since I live in the middle of nowhere, and Germany is still very much into printed papers instead of digital.
But once that won‘t be the case I‘m so getting rid of my printer!
That's why canon is gone from market , you can not make fool people all the time
ОтветитьCanon printer is a scam, cheap printer costs more than cheap printer. expensive printer cartridges low price
ОтветитьI print about 1 sheet every 2 years on average. Each time I need to print, I need a new cartridge. $20 per page is not economical.
Is there a way to prevent printer heads from drying ?
I am seriously considering buying an old dot matrix printer.
Just get a laser one
Ответитьhate to tell you, your still getting ripped off using tank ink.
Ответитьi would always prefer to but ink tank printer if u want to print colors too, or Lazer ones if only b/w
ОтветитьInk dries out. If you don't print much go with toner. Little more expensive (I believe) but you don't have to worry about your ink cartridge drying out.
ОтветитьPer litre, printer ink is more expensive that human blood.
ОтветитьShould We Bow? Yeah, He's a King!
Ответитьyes !!!! it is a scam from them.!!! Alsa my scaner dosent work with no ink why ? The drivers!!!
ОтветитьWhen will you realize, that's what it's all about. People are trolls face it.
ОтветитьAre you telling me, that you're actually changing the ink cartridges every week?
Ответитьabout 13years ago, my dad just drill a hole on top of the catridge and refill the ink without buying a new one.
ОтветитьLaser printers are amazing they last forever. The only thing is that the toner cartridges are expensive like $80-$150 per cartridge. And if you have a color printer you’re basically buying a new printer every time you order a new set of cartridges. But I usually get generic brands and they work just as well for like 1/5th the price.
ОтветитьNever buy canon printers
Ответитьthanks bro
ОтветитьHP is the worst. The design looks like a big lunchbox. especially the HP DeskJet 2640
ОтветитьLove how the printer industry solved a problem it created
ОтветитьLazer printer. Brother - preferably. Usually they don't care if you use aftermarket cartridges.
ОтветитьYou are right
ОтветитьI’m not surprised at all.
ОтветитьEpson were among the worst SCAM for printers, but ended up being the most honest.
I used Epson EcoTank for 4-5 years and still haven't needed to purchase refill. Epson charges more for Ecotank printers, but in the long run way cheaper with bottles than Ink carts. I paid only 130 bucks for my 2710 Ecotank on sale in a local store and it included 4 bottles of ink.
The only thing i dislike about EcoTank is that i can't buy cheap refill bottles anytime soon as they lasts too long. lol
I've been an Epson guy all my life, i never knew printer ink was a struggle.. I literally still have bottles of inks that i bought a year ago, that was only like $9 and never thought of having a dry printer
