What is an IP Protection Rating?

Dear sir, if there is a panel with IPXX, and there are equipment such as small panels or electrical devices inside it, can we consider all these equipments satisfy or meet the requirements of IPXX since they are inside in IPXX ?

Thanks I bought a set of solar powered lights and it said IP65. Thanks for the chart to so i guess my light is dust proof and jet proof which is good enough for me. Being from China who knows if it was actually tested though lol. Maybe I should ask for there certification code or whatever
