ОтветитьLooks like dust on the plastic camera flange cover to me ? Has someone been handling this camera already?
ОтветитьI love 4:3. As an M43 fan, I've learned to see in 4:3. After years of shooting it, I find it often results in stronger compositions especially on the telephoto end.
ОтветитьMore crappy plastic and silly rubber covers
Build wise (only) after owning Nikon and Leica, these cameras look and feel like cheap toys
Obviously they are superb technology
Wish these cameras would show the live view in the eyepiece while simultaneously showing the last photo in the LCD instead of requiring both screens to show the same feed. Also wish the live view didn't stutter after every shot on the RP.
ОтветитьI still can't get Ken's position on FF vs Cropped - on one side it's okay to use cropped in almost all real-life scenarios, on the other he says FF like RP are the best. I read the article, and yes, I understand that picture composition and one's talent matters the most, but now that the market has both FF and cropped camera deals almost at identical prices why wouldn't one go for FF?
PS I shoot a6000 and I love it, still I want to understand "the bigger picture" for my future endeavors.
Been a reader of yours for a while but first time commenting... Seems like a great camera, is the price tag worth it? I've got the Canon RP and I love it but you know how it is when a new toy comes out, the old one doesn't seem so fun anymore, but gotta stick with what the wallet says. Also what's your thoughts on the HEIF format that this one and the 1-DX III can shoot in? I'm trying to shift to just shooting JPEG and then they come out with a new format! haha, Thanks for the vids keep em comin'.
ОтветитьGreat review as always. I have learned so much since I discovered your channel👍.
ОтветитьThank you for another excellent review!
ОтветитьVery helpful unboxing, thank you Ken.
ОтветитьI need an R5 in my life 😁
ОтветитьI like to use old high quality manual focus lenses on DSLR such as Contax Zeiss, Leica, Voigtländer and evening old AI manual focus F mount glass. So far I am using them on a D850. But I can’t find a glassless adaptor for contact CY to F mount and it’s still tough to nail precise manual focus on the D850 because it doesn’t have a focusing screen. So I think it’s best to get a good mirrorless body for wide range lens adaption and easier EVF manual focus with a good sensor that can do good for the high quality manual focus Zeiss and Leica glass. What mirrorless body would be best for me? If the R5 is best let me know. And please Recomended 1 other body besides the R5 that would be best. And the best option for under $2000 or less retail. Thanks for your help!
Ответитьgreat unboxing! learned a lot. again!
ОтветитьI benefit from weather sealing in the winter months. Not much anymore since selling my D3s but it helps in keeping out moisture from condensation.
ОтветитьI prefer top LCD or rear base LCD for quick viewing at night and not having to put the vf to my eye especially if I'm driving and shooting. I drive for a living and end up shooting while working. I think the DF has the perfect one being so small.
I agree the bigger ones are kinda inconvenient that they take away from other dials. I also agree with not having a rear LCD screen on a mirrorless body. I like the XPro3 configuration a lot.
