The children were brought to Jesus that he might lay his hands on them and pray. When the disciples came to Jesus, asking Him which one of them was going to be the greatest in Christ’s kingdom, Jesus called a child to Himself (Matt. 18:2) and said, “whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matt 18:4). Jesus went on, telling His followers that part of their duty is to receive little children: “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me” (Matt. 18:5).

Humanity is coming face to face with the harsh cruelties war imposes upon human life. Stories like this are indeed heartbreaking. Greed for power and dominance by a dictatorial regime are helping us all recognize why war must never be viewed as an answer.

What impressed me here was how beautifully this child's family and caregivers infused her with love and joy unceasingly, even while their own hearts were breaking. 😢❤❤

While our politicians are gripped with fear of escalation in the war, Ukrainian children are dying, and being killed. Russia keeps at least 7,000 civilians imprisoned, who are deprived of everything, tortured and malnourished. Russia sends 🇷🇺 inmates into a “meat grinder” on the frontline. Most of Russian prisons became empty. So Russians fill these prisons with 🇺🇦civilans, those arrested just for speaking Ukrainian, identifying themselves as Ukrainians in the occupied territories. 🇷🇺 created prisons just for Ukrainians. These are modern-time concentration camps. Why nobody speaks about it, except, few human rights advocates?! The UN is corrupt to the core. Nobody investigate these cases. A 🇺🇦journalist has already died in such a prison. For heaven's sake, anybody should investigate!
