Tbh Techmage did play an important role with his beacon spam bc he managed to cut down the harvesters and the spikes and to thus stall the economic development. The frontline started shifting north about 3 minutes after the strikes against the spikes and the harvesters

the macro level of the game itself is low or not interesting. But the animation is nice, it looks like watching a sci-fi battle from a movie

How do you play this online? Do people still play it?

I think this is the best Battle I've seen. Most of your replays play out very similar, but this one? A back and forth to the very end.
I dunno what their skill level is, but I think Battles between non pros are always more entertaining than those of Pros.
