I could not get into this game. I crashed my plane and it wanted me to go all the way to where I landed just to get it back. I was done from that point on. I have no interest in playing it until it’s rock solid.

I’m one of the people who hasn’t flown a cutlass black. Just never been big on how it looks tbh. And nowadays I really just fly my prospector and mine on planets. If my buddies are on we take out a reclaimer. Getting ready to enjoy the Zeus as a possible driver for when I’m not mining. (Big Arrastra hype over here)

I couldn't stand the buggy nature of the game any more. After dying 7-8 times by spawning into a wall after waking up, I gave up. Anyone know if it's fixed yet?

The graphics three or four years ago were great. Now, they are completely average.

Lol this game is complete dog shit and you guys are so cute when you try to defend this game and say it's in alpha. It's been in development for 12 yeas, has a large team working on it and this is all they have? Just admit you got scammed and move on, it's not a big deal. I mean seriously, after 12 years and you still can't pick up a delivery box correctly and it takes 2 minutes for you to pull an item out of your inventory. Stop coping and just admit.

i have played star citizen, i own it just not played it more than once as i wanna play it with friends who dont own it lol im abit concerned with the pvp elements though tbh i have no interest in killing and stealing from players not do i want them killing and stealing from me lol

The Culass is still my favorite ship whats not to love, good firepower, someone can coop the turret, can carry cargo or troops. FTW

What really bugs me is the lack of tire marks in sand and snow in this game.

I say this only with curiosity and no hostility at all, I promise. I want to understand this game and what people love about it. I confess some lack of knowledge about its development beyond the gripes people have about how long its taken, etc. I think I also heard that fans of this game are defensive of it because of bad faith and aggressive critics who are more interested in making people feel bad because of the things they like, so I want to get ahead of that and say that I am not some troll who wants to make star citizen people mad. I can definitely understand how people love the ambience, and the art style, and the bucolics, and the ships. The ships especially are sick, lovingly designed, all the animations and the way everything is physically interactable, it's clearly lovingly made. I acknowledge as well that the purpose of this video is to play through parts of the game that are more mundane if I understand correctly, and that it isn't a finished game either. But I watch this video and it seems to include more or less indistinguishably all the features and the gameplay loop that Starfield has for example, only it was critically panned. It kind of just seems like all there is to do is go this way, go that way. Maybe to a more or less empty badlands style planet or something. Take an elevator to a bunker, nothings really in there, snoop around some crashed ships which seem to clip around the environment. again I know this isn't the flashy stuff, but is it the run of the mill average experience of the game? I feel like surely I am missing something. I'm a big TTRPG guy and I know Matt Colville loves this game, and he's a brilliant game designer. If he likes the mechanics of this game, surely there is something to it, some gameplay loop which 'reinforces the fantasy' as he would say, and I'm looking for it. I noticed you picked up that ship's gun to sell it. Is that where a lot of the game is? selling stuff to other players? to an NPC? What do you do with the money? I don't know anyone who plays this, and with all the updates and assumed knowledge of a game this niche, I have a hard to getting answers by looking myself so I thought I'd ask. Again, not raining on anybody's parade. Any answers I'd appreciate. Thanks y'all.

Wish they stop change ships when you buy ship to IT be lock and not change you buy star ship for real cash so why cig Ho sell IT stil come to your hangar and change IT and how come armos not got match back pack to be Armo set and guns and i tell all abut all pay items whay Armo and guns drop and ships get nerf to worst befor they be like bit buf and they be good the biger ships but they get nerf tons players seee IT like force them to buy new ships and cig now wonder why not lot pay for ships any more till nerfs stare drop ships drop tons of cig need fix it

Cheapest game to start, I like buying it for family and friends.

last time i played after pledging so much money i was able to walk around the hanger and do nothing but look at the ships .. was a few years ago might be time to look into this game again

So at the end you didn't really lose your ship right? Nor your life? How does persistance work in that regard?

How heavily is gravity simulated in this engine? Does is matter much in fuel usage for instance? Do your travel trajectories get distorted? Do ships need to rotate around each other to avoid attracting in formations? Etc...

I personally have not flown the Cutlass Black but I was in my friends Cutlass Black gunner position during Arena Commander.

Ngl you should do this as a series. I don’t have the game, but I am looking forward to trying it and just getting solid gameplay is something I would love to see.

I have a pretty expensive pc and it gets decent frame rates with everything on Medium and textures High. I don’t think a lot of people have the necessary hardware to run this game TBH

As someone who has never played SC yet desperately wants to (my computer is a potato and I don't want to spend thousands on a proper one) I think I can speak for that segment of the poll who said "no" when I say that I pretty much experience the game vicariously through these videos.

How could Starfield be more famous than this game ? I followed Chris Roberts when he developed Wing Commander in the 90's. It was just amazing (dozen of floppy disk 3.5). You had digitized voices, videos, etc... never seen before. All the gameplay took place between the ship and the space stations (no planets to travel through) but it was just amazing ATM. I didn't believe in his Star Citizen project at the time but now I see that he has remained the same, the true pioneer of games set in space. A legend.
