What Amp battery are you using and how long would the 18 volt last on a full charge?
ОтветитьIf anyone is still answering questions I would really like to see how the wires are hooked to the motors as I am not the greatest at electrical
ОтветитьPlease someone help me
ОтветитьWe got the same one for my nephew... >:)
Ответить😂😂😂this is great!!
ОтветитьDid you have to weld anything together?
ОтветитьRhino liner or herculiner spray on the tires will give it traction, you may need to reapply every other week but that's what I did with my son's jeep, it definitely moves on tarmac, it slips every now and then but it's better than just plastic
ОтветитьHey mr. how has this held up since you’ve done it ?
ОтветитьI didnt see any in line fuse in that
ОтветитьLooking forward to buying 2 of these next week. I'll update how it goes!
Update: Success!! This racer is super #$&! fast now! We purchased a new one so we were able to run the wiring a little smoother. But thanks for the video, would have been lost without the wiring instructions.
Very cool + fun. Good Job 👍
ОтветитьDid you add the 30amp Fuse?
ОтветитьWhen you charge it do you chage it all together or individually???
ОтветитьThank you so much. My boys have the same car and wants it to go faster.
ОтветитьHow does your wife like that 🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьwith all the money he spent on all that he could of just used the the regular powerwheels battery even though its stock the only thing that will be worth it is the speed
ОтветитьThanks for the advice man
ОтветитьLol nice!
ОтветитьI saw a 24V car with max MPH at 10 whereas a 12V was only 4.5 MPH.
ОтветитьHow long did the motor and board last?
ОтветитьI did this once. Since there was almost no weight in the front and everything was at the rear, the little Jeep did a wheelie and I fell right out.
ОтветитьGreat video, good explaining...greetings from mexico...
ОтветитьToo darn cute. Just bought my boy one for Christmas and assembling it now. Just taking a break to see more of what it can do with some tinkering.
ОтветитьShout out to all the dads trying to make their kids power wheels faster right now haha
ОтветитьBet
ОтветитьYour drive motors won't last long when you double the voltage . Still love the video.
Ответить6.05, not 6.5 ;-)
ОтветитьI’ve watched this video at least 3 times since I bought my son his power wheel. I think I’m ready to finally convert it!
ОтветитьWhat a great dad !!! ❤❤
ОтветитьI did the same with my son's power wheel. It went twice as fast. But after a month the plastic gears teeth broke. Too mush power for these power wheel to handle when the internal gears are all plastic. They should make it out of steel gears but no they too cheap. Also they won't sell the gears separately so you are force to buy the whole gear box to get the gears.
ОтветитьSo everything is stock power wheels except for the extra battery hooked up in series?
ОтветитьHow’s the length of the charge last after conversion?
ОтветитьI would add caulking to the tire treads for better traction on pavement. Maybe just in the rear...
Thoughts?
They have a kit online for these now that plugs together
ОтветитьDoes this have an impact on the circuit or the motor? I am assuming your connecting 24v to 12v motor?
Ответитьyour missing the green support bar that goes underneath towards the back that u screw in with two screws
through the seats
You only add one battery in parallel, what about the 12v motor, can it resist so much power i mean 24v, i think it can damage the 12v motor, any sugestion pls?
ОтветитьWholesome video and awesome upgrade 👌
ОтветитьI'm quite happy with this thing without the upgrade. My biggest challenge is finding a spacious, safe and comfortable place to use it with the kids. I'm trying to avoid the beach because of sand issues. Anyone know if there are parks that allow these types of toys to be used?
Ответитьthank you king of the hill propane
ОтветитьYou should add some wide tight rubber bands over the rear wheels to get traction on asphalt
ОтветитьHow is that motor not burned up?
ОтветитьFor better grip - You needed to take a bike tire and cut it down to size of the back wheels and screw the bike tire on to the wheels
ОтветитьMy kid's car is 12V. Is it possible to replace that 12V car with a 24V battery? Since the motors in the 12V car are 12V motors and lighting systems, is it okay to install a 24V battery instead?
ОтветитьHow long did it go before you frayed your motor?
Ответитьwhy u dont use parallel connection?
ОтветитьThanks. Getting my 2 and 4 yr old boys this for Christmas. Will eventually be upgrading like this, video saved! Great job with this, very helpful.
ОтветитьWhat is best way to revert back? I found a green buggie on my street no one wanted to trash for free pick up and they had it hot wired for 2 batteries. Trying to go slower for my daughter’s 1st hot wheel
