Master of the Craft 😮
ОтветитьIt is difficult to know what to make of these. All one can do is look at one’s own experiences as a child, an adult, a parent and moving closer to one’s mortality. Looking at one’s experiences, I can see no parallels with my experiences of these states.
Therefore, I’m strongly inclined to conclude that pscholology and psychoanalysis is at best a pseudoscience and very possibly, in my analysis, a complete load of nonsense. I suspect, those who give it some credibility, are largely the same people whom would be easily hypnotised and subject to irrational persuasion from, for example, religion or advertising or rhetoric. The feeble minded masses.
fine to see your ideas
ОтветитьFrom your description of narcissistic, paranoid personality I arrive at the very person of Jesus of Nazareth. No wonder the Roman governor didn't know what to do with the aberration; but Jews knew; their laws and tradition passed down from generations gave them a structure of sanity.
ОтветитьCan we just register that Kerberg, to my mind, is 90 years old here. Magisterial!
ОтветитьWhat a good lecture introducing the vital processes of psychoanalysis
ОтветитьExcellent lecture. Demystifies lot of misconception about psychoanalysis, which was looked up on as not evidence based.
ОтветитьOutstanding ! Excelente !
ОтветитьYou know that Freud lied about every single one of his "successes", right? Some are invented whole cloth.
You describe almost nothing but failures in your own book - of course, not your responsibility, it's always the patient's fault for not submitting to your manipulations and humiliating tactics.
What is your real success rate and for how many years on average did you fleece the vulnerable and the suffering?
Truly awesome !
ОтветитьThis is in Munich ?
ОтветитьHad to pause the video several times. I can't believe I'm watching a lecture by Otto Kernberg.
Ответитьawesome!!
ОтветитьIs the hypothalamus a structure of the limbic system?
Ответитьhow many days or months - weeks should the procedure be done?
ОтветитьThis was exceptional, and the simplistic breakdown of complex ideas was very profound.
Ответитьthe mind/brain section which seeks to merge (a version of) psychoanalysis with neuroscience seems crazy to me and unlikely to be very productive either in psychoanalysis or in neuroscience since both will need to be treated in a simplistic/distorted fashion in order to fit with each other. Well, that is how it seems to me :-)
ОтветитьSuper Sir..
ОтветитьThe artist is Cy Twombly btw
ОтветитьWHAT A MIND!!!!!!
ОтветитьThank you Sir.👏👏
ОтветитьAffect stimulating presentation. Thanks IPA & Dr. Kernberg
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH SIR FOR THE BEAUTIFUL LECTURE EXACTLY PINNING THE FREUD THEORIES, WHICH ARE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND IF EXPLAINED BY AN AMATURE.
WITH THE CONTEMPORARY NEUROSCIENCE, I THINK THE HOT (LIMBIC-ID) SYSTEM AND COLD (CORTEX AND LIMBIC-SUPER EGO) SYSTEM AND THE BALANCE (PREDOMINANTLY CORTEX - EGO) BETWEEN THESE TWO IS WHAT WE CALL AS THE BEHAVIOUR/PERSONALITY - A PATTERN OF NEURO CIRCUITRY WIRING AND GENETIC COMPOSITION, GENE ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION.
WITH THE ADVANCE OF COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCES THESE PHENOMENON ARE BETTER EXPLAINED IN MORE MEASURABLE FORMS AND THUS MORE EVIDENCE BASED.
ALSO I BELIEVE THAT THE RELATIONSHIP/OBJECT RELATION IS SO DYNAMIC THAT IT CHANGES WITH NEW EXPERIENCES/RELATION. THIS CAN BE CHALLENGED AND REGULATED BY COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPIES THUS REWIRING THE BRAIN CIRCUITS, AND THUS A PART OF PERSONALITY.
HOWEVER THE GREAT FOUNDATION AT THE EARLY AGES BY PSYCHODYNAMICS WITHOUT THE ADVANCEMENT OF IMAGING WAS REALLY GREAT.
This was great and very insightful!!! Thank you!.
ОтветитьThe larger picture, so oft ignored by a chiseled mind, considers the disturbance of the splat background with the interweaving complexity of the material presented. There was a note here about pseudoscience; yes, the brain may squeeze but never conquer itself with apt explanation. This is a good thing.
Ответить❤️🌹
ОтветитьLekker bezig otto
ОтветитьThank you Dr. Kernberg !!!
ОтветитьThank you Dr. Kernberg for unfolding the subject in such a professional and easy understanding method.
ОтветитьGreat introduction!!! Thank you Dr Kernberg !!!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing a very this content it may mean a lot for someone in need for help. Great lecture.
ОтветитьExtraordinary, thank you very much for such a well structured, usefull explanation.I learned a lot, the mixure with the cases was excellent.I wish all the best, you are a very warmth educated person.
ОтветитьRight ear is jealous
ОтветитьGotta love all the Twomblies behind him!
ОтветитьI am so thankful for this presentation! I am also thankful for Otto Kernberg. All the best!
ОтветитьI like how he pronounced "dada"
ОтветитьWhat implications does a lack of parental prohibition(s) during developmental stages have on the ego/superego and potential pathology(ies)? We see in the case studies neuroses that stem from overly-excessive demands by parents but how does this work in instances in which there is a lack of parental involvement/lack of structure. An example may be a child with a single parent who is addicted to drugs and neglects the child.
EDIT: Also, I think that the video title is misleading: it isn't merely an introduction to psychoanalysis but, rather, 'An Introduction to Object Relations Theory as an Offshoot of Psychoanalysis'.
I disagree with everything. Case studies are NOT a reliable source of knowledge. The truth here is harvested by a flawed and inadmissible method. Like an illegaly obtained proof at the court.
ОтветитьI’m so very happy that theory and clinical cases are explained by eminent psychoanalyst Otto Kernberg.
ОтветитьI smell pseudoscience...
Ответитьencouraging
ОтветитьSubtitles woulb be interesting to whom does not speak english só well.
ОтветитьExcellent introduction from one of the preeminent psychoanalytic thinkers.
