My daughter’s a geologist. Started collecting rocks age 9 months. I’ll tell you about rocks sometime.
ОтветитьI've collected rocks since I could walk...lol
😂😂😂
This list really hits the nail on the head. As for the gadgets/things we think we will want or need...200%!! Just wait! It's so much fun to shop for stuff to decorate and outfit our rigs no matter what we have, but once we get moving, most of that stuff becomes just more stuff you have to keep from flying around while traveling or stuff to unpack and repack ever time. The rocks collection is hilarious!!
ОтветитьI have been out of whack n just now was able to spend some time on my phone. But I couldnt find you..I kept on n on n there you were..I could have jumped with joy..I have missed you
ОтветитьThat was amazing , thanks for sharing Carolyn.. 💛💛💛
ОтветитьI am a wire wrap artist 🤣 so collecting rocks for me is a given 🤣🤣🤣❤ I am still in a sticks and bricks rental but I am very much interested in RV/van life. My question to you is how has it been having your fur babies living in such a smaller space? I have an 80 pound fur baby that sheds like 3 dogs in one. How do you deal with shedding clean up?
ОтветитьThank you, Great video! 🙂
ОтветитьI've started doing #5 way early. I'm going to have a hard time controlling that one.
ОтветитьI knew that buying too much stuff would be on your list. But I do not and never have collected rocks. Not one. That said, my grandson loves to collect rocks and I’m always trying to find ways to get rid of them without upsetting him.
ОтветитьWaggle in Maryland.... In OC if you left dog in RV you would still be in detention if caught. Cruelty is taken seriously and felonies have minimum sentences.
ОтветитьNuubies!!Newbies!!! Rechargeable light. Electronic lighter. Alpaca wool sweater. Drinking water maker or holder.
ОтветитьYou are so right about newbies collecting rocks that’s so me😇😊
ОтветитьNewbie 5 is so me! No matter where I travel, I always search for pebbles. or shells. I try to choose little ones to keep the weight down! I have 2 pretty larger ones as you come in the door. They are used to weigh the mat down.
Ответить“If your dreams don’t scare you they aren’t big enough.” I like that quote.
ОтветитьI LOVE collecting rocks!
ОтветитьCarolyn this was very helpful to this NEWBIE. Thank you for your “support”, courage and excellent recommendations. By the way…I love your hair 😊 cheers to rocks 😂
ОтветитьIs it weird to comment that your hair looks GREAT?
ОтветитьOk I’m guilty 😮
ROCKS are great and takes me back to childhood. A time of honesty and a time of doing what you like with what you find.
Since I've been on the road my tool collection has grown but, I'm more selective. Our first mistake being newbies was buying to big of a bbq when we could have got away with a little bbq.
ОтветитьI collect sea shells and they ride on my sideboards on the rubber. I never go over 50 mph so they stay on running boards.
ОтветитьI was only sentimental about 3 things
The dining room table my mom left me
A radio my father built
And a muzzle loader my great x2 grandfather carried in carried in the Civil War
A friend is keeping the items for me
Staying healthy is my biggest concern, so sleep, keeping clean, good food. So, I'm sure I'll carry too much food and clothes.
ОтветитьI can't bear to give up some of my books, so I'll find room! I still love rereading them
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьHow does mywaggle work without internet in your camper?
ОтветитьNever mind rv tips Carolyn, your hair is so full and luscious what’s your secret??
ОтветитьThe rock collection is so me great tips
Hi Sadie 🐾❤️
When I was a kid, I used to love collecting rocks (still do but haven't). It brought back an old memory of a rock tumbler (polisher, kids one) that I had. Made the rocks looks even more beautiful.
ОтветитьI really like your green hoodie w/ smiling face, campe,r heart AND your hair looks great!
ОтветитьI'm not a full-time RVer (but I am an avid camper!), and I collect rocks. ;) Safe Travels.
ОтветитьLove you Carolyn! You're the best. thank you for the video!
Ответить#5, something to do with pooping??
ОтветитьLol! Your story for #1 makes me feel better! I have a plan for where to sleep, or a vague one, and a plan b!
ОтветитьI haven’t collected rocks, but I have certainly collected shells off the beach!
ОтветитьOMG! Busted a gut laughing at #5! I even had the builder make me a rock drawer to hold the best of my rocks with room to add more. Thanks for the laugh!
Ответить👍🏻 This is a perfect video for me 😁👍🏻 I’m ‘blasting off’ in my bus in a month and I am doing ALL those things. 🤣 actually have rocks to take with that I’ve carried literally for decades. 🤣
I must say though the one gadget I will not go with out is the waggle I got for my fur babies safety. Thank you for that. 👍🏻❤️
Yup…. I’ve done all 5! You make me normal ! 😀 you’re looking so good - love your hair. Thank you.
ОтветитьYour hair looks great! I really like the way it looks!
ОтветитьI’m not full time, but traveling more and longer…and you are soooo on target!! Had a great laugh as I watched. You nailed it!!!
Ответитьstill waiting to start my life on the road so I go on micro adventures and I usually pick up a rock or two on my hikes, lol, it always reminds me of Lucille Ball in The Long, Long Trailer and her rock collection
ОтветитьGreat video! 👍
ОтветитьYour hair is AMAZING, Carolyn! Especially the shots outside. So pretty.
ОтветитьI haven't collected rocks, but I do collect feathers! I have a BUNCH of feathers! I don't know what I'm going to do with all the feathers, but one day I'll make some wind type art with the feathers!
ОтветитьI can honestly say i have not picked up a rock for a collection, been in my van for eight months now😊
ОтветитьAwesome video, Carolyn! I'm a minimalist, not too many gadgets etc but man every time I go to the ocean and walk on the beach (only an hour from where I live), I HAVE to pick up rocks and shells. Definitely need to go through my collection and minimize those! Just bought a jackery for my travels starting next Spring and can't wait!! Just bought a Xmas snow globe too, that runs on batteries (trying to stay away from Home Depot is hard! 🤣), figured I could use that as a night lite 🙂 and love that it takes batteries, no need to charge. I don't care that it's "holiday" snowmen, too cute to pass up. I just hope it doesn't break! Lol. I'll have to make sure it's secured really well. Good point tho about coffee cups, etc breaking. At least I only have 2 coffee cups now, I used to collect them! Nice having a thrift store nearby to donate stuff which I've been doing a lot of lately to get ready for next Spring. Thanks for the tips on being a new nomad. I just love your presentation style and you look great!
Ordered your 2023 calendar and can't wait to get it! I missed last year but promised myself I was not going to miss this one ;-). Hugs to you and Sadie girl 🤗🐶🌄💜
Thank you. We needed to hear your message today!
Ответить#4 I don’t have a lot of gadgets, but one of my favs is a light duty, rechargeable leaf blower. It’s great for keeping the rug outside free of leaves and sand, blowing leaves and pine needles off the hood and awnings, getting a fire started (use with care) and many other tasks.
ОтветитьI love my Waggle monitor!
Ответить#2 I just spent a few hours purging stuff in preparation for Quartzsite. I don’t like clutter, but still managed to fill 2 garbage bags with stuff that was just occupying space.
