I'm taking it to my daughter in Maine so she, her husband and my 8 month old grandson can enjoy using it. I can't wait to see your kayak videos!!

I found your channel while I was looking for Kayak vids. Ended up buying some cheapies and still got 'em. Yep they like anything else deteriorate when they get put away for while. Life changes, I have folks from car groups shade me because I neglected car projects, but we had kids and they took priority! As they should. Keep doing what you do. Don't let any kayak purists shade ya because you put the yaks down for a while.

I absolutely ended up here at your site because of the kayaks. My wife and I bought kayaks because of it. Even equiped them for fishing, only problem was they were sit ins but you could bring your knees up. Im sure we were a comedy show getting in and out at 71 years old. Watched pretty much every video and now watch Brants also. Sold them to our neighbors and now fish off our daughters and husbands pontoon.

I loved those videos. Couldn't wait to see where you were going or what you were catching from the kayak. Good times! One of those videos you made about what you need to start fishing were basically 2 spinning reels. A 3000 size and a large one in the 6000-8000 size. Ordered my first Penn Fierce II 3000 reel off Amazon after watching it 5 or 6 years ago. Paired with an Ugly Stik GX2 medium 6'6"2 piece rod I have caught loads and loads of whiting, Ladyfish, Hardhead catfish, largemouth bass, catfish, etc. Caught my personal best off the Gulf Shores State Park pier last Thanksgiving week with it on 12 lb Berkley Big Game monofilament. A nice 40 LB Black Drum! Learned how to tie pompano rigs, carolina rigs, high/low rigs and lots of other things More kayak videos hell yeah!

Jack, your a legend, you got me into kayak fishing, and in a Hobie, your videos inspired me ‘ but now I’ve gone to the dark side, I bought. boat ‘ 😄

Great message, for me it was doing canoe hunting trips for elk and moose in northern Canada. Later, tracking and still hunting big timber whitetails. People told me I was crazy and it would never work, been proving them wrong for 15 years. Now my journey is going backwards, gravitating towards what I call "freshwater surf fishing". Just tossing a long rod in my car and hunting for fishable shoreline. Once again, most people dont get it, but I've landed 6 pike over 40" this season... a few trophy's up from last.

Hello, I was given a fishing kayak an Old Town Predator 13 paddle model. It's an older kayak and I love it. It's not the nicer pedal drives but I won't complain.
