So, just no mention of the 98' orange bowl then? I'm sure Peyton came back to do more than just "beat the gators"

Besides TB, PM was the most dangerous regular season QB for quite a long time.

I'll take Manning over Brady anyway. Peyton didn't need to deflate balls or spy on the other team.

I still think manning should have won the mvp in 2011. They went from a double digit win a year team to the first pick in the draft. I dunno. Just my viewpoint on the meaning of MVP

In my opinion, a lot of players that are called "chokers" were actually overachievers that did more with less and then when the competition gets better they tend to loss by a large margin.
If a player is really rattled in pressure situations, they usually loss close games at the end. Maybe I'm completely wrong but it seems to make sense in my, very scare, mind

It really was crazy back then. Peyton would throw ~30 tds, 4,000-4,700 yds, and win 12+ games year after year and it was just normal

I love Peyton he is such a staple of great QBs. That being said, I would love to see a similar video of how great Tony Romo was. Undrafted, put into horrible positions and still put up insane numbers. No im not saying Romo is Peyton. But the come up story is only supressed solely because he played for Dallas. Had he played for a smaller market team, he would be a fan favorite and an underdog story. I still think had Romo played instead of Dak, we coild have seen one of the most potent offenses ever.

He’s definitely great. I don’t want to just compare Super Bowl rings because it’s a team sport. But I can’t help but feel like his second Super Bowl he had very little to do with and his two Super Bowl losses were bad ones on his legacy. It’s also hard to not compare that with Tom Brady who’s Super Bowl achievements and failures garner more respect.

Manning was the best regular season qb of all time. If he had two more rings he’d be the goat. Even if Tom still had all of his.

Good enough to win almost 29% of Tom Brady’s super bowl win total. Good enough to finally match his statistically average younger brother in super bowl wins in his final season.
