Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You! I have been trying to find a stabilizer like this for years and the $ is within my price range too.
I miss your DIY videos too! You have given me some helpful tips & tricks for my projects. I also rebooted some of your videos and made them even more cost-effective too. I am going to share this video on all my platforms too.
You have saved me a huge amount of money with your videos! I hope to see more soon!
I have also shared this on my LinkedIn account and an indie film group page that I am a part of on Facebook. Here is the name of that group. "Southern Actors, Artists, and Musicians"
ОтветитьHey! Been a while. I was just thinking if you had to revisit any of the old PVC builds the updated prices would be crazy with the cost of materials now. Haha
ОтветитьSo happy to see you back. Was only looking at your channel yesterday to see if you'd uploaded anything. This is such a great idea as well
ОтветитьIt has been a few years. Are you still in Alaska or did you get out of there? I could see some uses for that camera rig setup. I hope you are doing well wherever you are. Take care.
ОтветитьMan appears once a year to sell filmmaking equipment 😂 BTW how did your film do financially?
ОтветитьGood to see you, man.

You still in Alaska? Good to see things from you again.
ОтветитьGreat solution. Thanks for sharing :)
ОтветитьLove the NEX-5N still around in the background :)
ОтветитьDoes that work underwater?
ОтветитьVery cool rig. The shot of the woman in the car looked and sounded great! Always good to see the contraptions you come up with. I've built quite a few of your older setups. Take care.
ОтветитьJust a couple days ago I was talking about how we do not really see Fig Rigs anymore. This is a pretty clever version using the Osmo. Hope your film does good boss !
ОтветитьHow ironic, that i was thinking just a few days ago that i hadnt seen anything from you for some time, and then this pops up in my feed now. I miss your great content and diy builds. It was always very inspiring.
ОтветитьCool! looks like you are using the USB port on the bottom handle to charge the Osmo, and using the USB port adapter the front of the Osmo to connect to the smartphone. How is the power bank also keeping the smartphone charged or does it last long enough on its own?
Looks like this will work for my Osmo Pocket 3. Difference is the OM3 uses peer-to-peer Wi-Fi to connect the smartphone DJI app to the Osmo so both the camera and the smartphone will still have USB or lighting power ports available for the power bank. Yes!!
Great to see you posting again! It occurs to me that this could work as a Frugal Crane 3.0, with the DJI Osmo etc. at one end of an expandable painter's pole and the monitor at the other (if a drone isn't an option).
ОтветитьFrugal as ever!
ОтветитьReally Clean Set uo. Very Nice!
ОтветитьI was just trying to figure out something like this for my new Pocket 3, but as usual I was overthinking it! Thanks for this, I'm copying it for my rig!
PS: I found an identical cage but orange handles for $15 on eBay!
Tracking shots dolly shots butthole shots
ОтветитьI love your approach to your craft(s). GUILT will force me to send you some $.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. One question: Do you need to correct the lag (delay) when using the external mic? Is it noticeable when viewing the recorded video?
ОтветитьGreat to see you around again, Scott!
ОтветитьHave you ever thought about creating a Frugal Filmmaker course where you teach people how to build everything they need to get started? Seems like a good way to keep the money rolling in for future productions.
ОтветитьSizin kanalınızı 10 sene önce tanıdım ve hala sizi takip ediyorum. Ekonomik kamera ekipman çözümleriniz harika! Türkiye İstanbul'dan selamlar...
