Have you ever thought of filming an episode with a go pro w/external mic?
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьHave you ever thought of filming an episode completely with a go pro w/external mic?
Ответитьyea
Ответитьword up
ОтветитьI had one of those radio shack mics, I never used it because i always used my shotgun mic for filming things, then the day I need to use my lav it doesn't work!!! it is disappointing, especially because i never got to see how well it worked.
Ответитьi use my wife for random things all the time too, lol
Ответитьwhen you build your rigs, do you do it twice or just take them apart to show us? Great videos, lots of knowledge! :)
Ответитьreally like question from someone then response over the film running..thanks a lot.
Ответитьholy balls your 2 meters tall
ОтветитьIs that a wide angle lens on your Vixia? And if so, what make and model?
ОтветитьYep! It's a Raynox HD 6600 with a 58mm thread.
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьI build it, make sure it works, then disassemble and rebuild on camera. It's why I never glue anything.
Ответить"6 feet seven inches tall, baby." I died.
ОтветитьWho is that creepy lady
Ответитьsounds like a voice synth, or narrator program for the visually impaired.
Ответитьwhere are your actual films posted?
ОтветитьSomething about this guy's demeanor is just cool and laid back.
ОтветитьYour audio is recorded from a radioshack lapel mic? Who would've thought?
ОтветитьI think your wasting your time on this faq thing. People are always gonna ask the same irrelevant questions.
ОтветитьYour car has better acoustics, or your wife gets tired of you recording videos in your house. Just build a big plywood box in your garage, like they use on Letterman, cover it with some egg foam and walla, acoustic studio, haha.
ОтветитьTo execute your plan, I'd need a garage first...
ОтветитьThis is the worst suggestion ever. Let the man be. Also, egg foam as a sound absorber is the worst myth that ever got started. He has his way and it works. I would prefer though that he use a Lav mic in the car, but hey, I'm just being picky.
ОтветитьWow, people cant make a simple comment without some jerk turning it totally upside down. You should watch Letterman, his sound voice over guy works inside of a plywood box big enough for a chair to sit in covered in foam inside. Try not always hitting respond to everything you read.
ОтветитьOh I thought you were living in a house rolling in dough haha. Yeah, a garage is nice. Or just use a bedroom.
Ответить@TGITechday He talks about it alot
ОтветитьCan you make a waterproof camera case?
ОтветитьWhere can we see your other final movie productions?
ОтветитьI enjoyed this segment, even if I knew mostly everything
ОтветитьSo I'm the jerk, even though you result to name calling? Nice. I've watched Letterman. They don't use 'cheap' egg foam. When you can tell me what the RT60 of Scott's car is, call me. Until then, I'd keep your acoustic advice private.
ОтветитьYouve never saw Lettermans sound guy inside of a box on stage. Apparently you don't watch American tv.
ОтветитьSomeone else mentioned this, and I think it's a good idea: How about a waterproof rig for a camera!!
ОтветитьHi there, I am trying to do a table top, demonstration like you do. But I am struggling to get something decent. I was wondering how far you put your cam away from your hands and how far you stand away from the camera. I am new to all this. I use a Canon HF21 camcorder. Any hints tips or ideas would be great if you would kindly spare the time. Thanks Kevin
ОтветитьThe camera is probably up about 8' in the air, tilted down (tripod at full height). I also use an external monitor so I can see what I am doing and stay within the frame.
ОтветитьThanks very much for taking the time to reply. I will try that idea and see I get along. May I suggest an idea for a video, would be a behind the scenes set up, to see how you prepare and present a video from start to finish. I think many would find that useful and information. KEEP up the GREAT WORK.
