今、改めて彼女の演技を振り返ってみても、フィギュアスケートに芸術点がある意味や、３Aや４回転ジャンプのような高難度のジャンプがなくても、高い評価を得る演技であることを証明している。
衣装の色は、プログラムに沿ったもの悲しげな色合いでできていた方が統一感があっていい。
指先の繊細な動きまで目がいくように手袋をつけるところ。
楽器のように音と共にのびやかに滑るところ。
演技を１つの物語かのように思わせるのは大事。
だから、女優のように表情を変えることも大事。
でも大抵のスケーターは技術か感性かどちらかが欠けている。
その全てを揃えた選手を輩出してきたのは、エテリのチームが全てを研究し追求してきた結果だ。
コーチ一人の力でも、選手個人の力でもなく、チームの力だ。

I love this program!!! Evgenia is still one of my favorite Russian women figure skaters. She is so graceful and she brings this program to life. Evgenia and Yulia changed the standard for womens figure skating. Love this program. I also absolutely love this dress. Never get tired of this program. This will go down in history as one of the best performances in womens figure skating. The Olympic Gold isnt everything. I think Evgenia made a bigger impact on womens figure skating than Alina. Still watching this in 2022. Superb!!!!!!

One of the best performance in the history of figure skating

Always loved watching Evgenia skate. She has the best artistry of any skater. Watch her facial expression and the way she reacts to the music. It is ballet on ice. She is not just an athlete but a performer, telling a story as she skates. This is why people all over the world love her skating. It is a shame that figure skating has become nothing more than jumps while choreography takes a backseat. I hope she continues to skate for a long time and maybe start coaching in the future.

Wow, BBC not afraid to call out the flutz. That said, I still think this was quite an enjoyable program.

2020 and I still can't find a skater who transmits what Evgenia transmitted and with her technical quality

The audience should have given her a standing ovation all the way until she left the ice . That was amazing

A pretty program- but world record? I just can’t see it. Even with the combo beyond the second half... I just don’t know about a world record. Plus the scoring at this event was ridiculous. She muscled, edge-switched, and pre-rotated many of her jumps/most of them. I love Evgenia, and accept her winning the gold here, just not a world record.

3 triple flips. pre-rotated and muscled 3 toe in the 3/3 combo. Iffy 2 axel. She just never could jump correct or effortlessly.
