Thanks for this, so many tips and tricks packed in less than 10min. We all need more speed and dexterity. Can I ask: Is it good to use second and third fingers together (I think I observed in your video) when fretting after next note with first finger, or should you only use second finger alone? I do a bit of both, but wondered…
Also, who’s the blond bobble head behind you? 😊
Good stuff, I will be working on this! Also plan to find that Yes Roundabout bass run and try working it out. Thx Dan!
ОтветитьVery good Exercise, Thank you so much! what I'm interested about is, how to play stuff like that on the E-String, specially from the 9th ore 10th Fret up to the 14th! . I mean in general. There I have the most problems and not really an Idee, how to work with my right hand!
ОтветитьVery useful practice exercise; I'm working on it this weekend. Thanks Dan!
Ответитьso grateful for you sharing invaluable knowledge. thank you again!
ОтветитьAwesome thank you good exercise
ОтветитьHi Dan - you mentioned that we should be doing daily stretching exercises. My pinkie, ring, and middle all want to follow each other and as a result, I do a ton of shifting. Do you have a recommended exercise routine to work on for separating fingers? I’m always amazed at people like you who have massive gaps.
ОтветитьSuper super lesson that Dan,, wish this was available when I was 16 ... i spent 6 hours a night in my bedroom ,headphones on and rewinding my old tape recorder back a thousand times to pick out riffs, 😃
On a positive note, it was great for the ear ... 👍
I was lucky to have a teacher back in the day who stressed proper fingering.Especially since I have short fingers, but learning this way has kept my digits stretched and saved me any pain.Good job as usual Dan.
ОтветитьAwesome exercise!
ОтветитьGood work Mr. Dan. Please can you modify this exercise to cut across all frets in a way that makes all the string crossings part of the exercise? I'll really appreciate that and I'm sure there are subscribers with likewise interest.
ОтветитьGreat exercise video for bass guitar players looking to improve their speed and accuracy! Dan does a great job of breaking down the exercise and providing helpful tips for practicing. I can already feel my fingers getting faster and more precise after incorporating this exercise into my routine. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI pluck with 3 finger, I am seldom aware of which finger is doing what. It just feels natural.
ОтветитьI've taken this exercise and extended it to all 4 strings. This is very helpful, thank you for your time!
ОтветитьHey Mate ;can you make a video About Looking Ahead while reading? Thanks
ОтветитьWooow now I got the secret 😘
ОтветитьDan where’s your mic? Your voice is nice and clear but i see no microphone. Is it above out of shot?
ОтветитьMy only weakness, songs that forces me to use thinger 4, lets see how fast i can improve this
ОтветитьExcuse me sir but what bass model do you used fore this video? I really wanna know
Ответитьlove you dan
