Just came here to watch after Stephen and Mark reminisced about this shot on Stephen's channel. Mark kept saying Stephen twitched, and he sure as heck did NOT twitch. But at the same time, Stephen remembered the black being much further away than it really was. Still a horrible shot to have to try to win the championship on though.

I love Dennis Taylor, oddly, that final he had I remember far more than this or any other, I think many others do as well

Stephen Hendry is not even top 3 ..He was washed up in his early 30s when standards improved.Besides that never beat a great player in a world final.He was happy dominating an above average bottler Jimmy,and lost WSC finals to average break buiders Ken & Ebdon. Explains perfectly why Hendry never won a major event after 1999 till he retired(bar Malta open) Everybody who plays snooker to a high standard like me knows Stephen Hendry was one of the most overrated players of all time! The guys a phony!
