Did I miss something? In the download, it has 1 3/4 and 2 3/4 duplicated, but none of the other widths. Typo? Or do we cut 4 of those particular strips?
ОтветитьI really love all your patterns you are so creative..... did you create the design of the knight also or is there a full set of similar designs for the rest of the pieces....
ОтветитьAWESOME tutorial. I love the checkerboard and knight, but it's SO easily adapted to so many other things...a couple more appliques and it could easily be an Alice in Wonderland theme, or racing themed. Love love love this tutorial!!
ОтветитьThat is so awesome....
ОтветитьLove the quilt. Just wondering, would it be easier to do the stitch in the ditch quilting before applying the appliqué? Then there’s no messing about around the chess piece.
ОтветитьThanks cool.
ОтветитьI love the quilt, your tutorials and most of all your energy. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI love your tutorials but can we move away from all the quilt making? Can you do other projects? Thx.
ОтветитьWow!
Ответить"Bargelloesque". Nice job, Rob.
ОтветитьThis is hard on my eyes, just to look at!
lol
WHAT FUN!
ОтветитьRob your so talented, I love this , and yes makes my eyes feel wonky.....
Love your patterns and the way you teach....
Love it Rob but it makes my eyes hurt.
ОтветитьNow this one looks like fun. Could you use 2 pattered batiks instead of solids? I’m wanting to try that. :)
ОтветитьOMG so going to make one of these. But using different colors. But instead of Knight piece make a unicorn.
ОтветитьI think you mean "show through" rather than "bleed through". I am hoping these fabrics don't bleed!
ОтветитьI'm a little confused on how to make this into a larger quilt, twin or full? Rob said can be made into any size, but how?
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьSew eye catching 😜 very impressive pattern ....happy new year and hope new year is great for the show as well as you and yours from Australia 🇦🇺
ОтветитьThis went too fast, did I miss a step? Please show how a bigger one would work.
ОтветитьRob, thanks so much for yet another great tutorial! I love this because it’s such a different way of piecing! Great job!
ОтветитьLove this! It reminds me of the old Have Gun Will Travel tv show. I would also like to see what this would look like in rainbow colors.
ОтветитьLove love love this quilt 💕
ОтветитьI like the seam allowances to face the machine, it helps to force the intersection to match more accurately
ОтветитьError on the download! Dear Rob, I noticed on the download you have duplicated measurements. I’m assuming it is a typo. Can you clarify? Love watching and learning from you. Thank you!🥰
ОтветитьI have been binge-watching your tutorials because they are packed full of such great tips!! I love that you not only show the "how" but also explain the "why!" If you made the Sewmando organizer, I would LOVE a tutorial on that. I have a very small sewing space, and that type of organizer would be AWESOME to keep my table tidy! God gave you a wonderful gift for teaching! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent!!
ОтветитьWhy was there no tutorial yesterday?
ОтветитьRob, I love your videos for sewing. Truly educational! Can you please make a video about how to make a flounce? (not a ruffle). I'm remaking some tunics that I've grown out of, I want to cut them up the middle and add a flounce on either side and wear it like a jazzy sweater/blouse/jacket (with maybe another flounce at the elbow in some cases...)! It will be fun to add a complimentary color and fabric etc. I like repurposing clothes. I know there is some calculation involved! Thank you! You're wonderful!
ОтветитьIs it best to increase by 2's? Instead of cutting 2 of each size, cut 4? Or can you increase by adding one to each number?
ОтветитьI love your videos but Batik is pronounced as Bah-tik and not Ber-teek.
ОтветитьThis would be super cute as a baby quilt but instead of a Chess Knight a race car or his racing number for my friend who races. 🤔💡😀
ОтветитьThe amount of effort you go through for these videos is amazing. A finished quilt behind you, having the pieces for a strip set on hand, having a partial strip set on hand, having a partial quilt top on hand. You’ve got, what, 3? 4? unfinished quilts going on just to teach us as thoroughly as possible! That is such a dedication to your audience to make quilting this look as doable as possible
ОтветитьCan you please make something good. Something fun like a guayabera shirt, something practical like a work shirt, i dont wanna make a blankie.
ОтветитьI think I'll scale this down for some man cave stool seats.
ОтветитьHow would you adjust the measurements to create a full size quilt? I hope to gift to a coworker that is struggling with a pregnancy of twins. I want an optical illusion to take their mind off the issues.
ОтветитьIt’s amazingly gorgeous!
ОтветитьWaaooww
ОтветитьI'm sorry I wasn't able to get this pattern, can you point me in the right direction?
ОтветитьI am trying to make the checkmate quilt by me to make it a king size how do I add to it
ОтветитьLink wouldn’t open
ОтветитьAgain, link is not working for me,
ОтветитьHas anyone made this quilt larger? I am thinking I would increase the blocks til I have the size I want? But does it have the same effect?
ОтветитьYou are very good 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьHi Rob, I love this tutorial. But when I click on link for free applique pattern it can't be found. I do a lot of business with MSQC I hate that they have taken away the opportunity to still create from your old patterns well anything free. Is there any way I can get my hands on it?
ОтветитьMan, I love that quilt. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe link for this pattern no longer works
ОтветитьI'm late to the party -- 5 years late I guess. I was looking for the "free printable" but that is, unfortunately, no longer available. Does anyone know where I could find it?
ОтветитьThank you.
