Is this just a remake into movie form (again)? A lot of uhh, characters that shouldn't be around in that trailer but one or two new faces too, so I'm quite unsure.

I was losing hope. I thought this day would never come. __ I've searched for info till last month. I never got a result back. This is shocking news.

Due to some text and dialogues from the trailer I think the unknown magical girl is a representative of walpurgist to save Madoka due to her saving them from despair thus making her their best friend and savior thanks to [The law of cycles] which makes Homura the jailer of Madoka their enemy once again and who's better for Homura opponent than to be Walpurgist herself, due to Homura always losing against Walpurgist which also gives in a way the reason this unknown magical girl seems so mixed because she has decided to take parts of Homura's friend to getting a symbolism of opposition and in a way makes the reason why Homura looks so stressed because her greatest enemy Walpurgist has risen again to fight her to recover the hope which is Madoka and best friend

I think... They're following a formula similar to evangelion.
First the Anime, then two movies making a recap, second movie ends witha twist, then the third movie with a different storyline and ending with a fourth.
