The Dragon Roost Island theme coming in hit so hard for me, I played WW to death as a kid and it’s one of my favorite games of all time, so hearing it again here made it feel like all the Rito from back then were cheering me on as I dove through Colgera to save the Rito of this timeline. This is truly a masterpiece of musical composition

Ugh. I almost wish the game didnt nudge you so hard to go Rito Village first. This dungeon is easily the most climactic for me and no other dungeon rivaled it (i still havent done the spirit temple or beat the game yet). Water temple was such a downgrade to do next even though i adore Sidon. Thunder temple didnt get me as jazzed as other friends made it sound. Fire temple was probably my second favorite? Which is funny because fire temples are usually my least favorite.

I beat colgera without using any arrows just by using setheroth’s method when the spikes get launched!

Nintendo had absolutely no business making this singular boss theme the best song in the entire game. And it's an optional boss too.

this boss fight was too damn short!!! I just started playing TOTK and this was my first temple. the ascend alone was epic as heck and then this cool looking giant dragon insect thing appeared with this beautiful theme! made me tear up 🥲

I’m sorry to say, but the coolest theme the Legend of Zelda franchise ever produced was Gerudo Valley OoT, proceeded by Attack on Vah Naboris. Unpopular opinion, I know, but the right one.

God this fight was so SATISFYING, EVERYTHING attacking Medoh should have been and all of the botw boss fights together...

THE WAY THEY ADDED IN DRAGON ROOST ISLAND WAS THE BEST THING IN ALL OF ZELDA MUSIC HISTORY.

I love how they went from 1 to 100 between BOTW and TOTK with the Wind Area.

BOTW was kinda shit, Vah Medoh was easy, so was Windblight Ganon, and the Rito area didn't have as many steps leading up to the main quest as the others so you didn't get to spend much mandatory time in Rito Village.

BUT IN TOTK, There are lots of substeps until you really get going, and you get to traverse the Hebra region a whole bunch. It's a lot harder to get there because of the cold and the wind. The Storm wind Ark is challenging and forces you to think a lot more. The final battle is the ultimate fight: 1. ITS A FUCKING AIR BATTLE, 2. THEY BROUGHT BACK COLGERA, 3. THE MUSIC IS SO FUCKING GOOD!

Possibly the best fight in the game. Haven't made it to the Gerudo region or the final fight against Ganon, so we'll see after that.

am i the only one that thought you had to use your bow and took like 20 minutes to realize that you need to skydive

This song is a masterpiece, sadly the game boss fight is really lame and short to actually allowing you to fully hear the song.

This is my favorite song in the whole game, such an amazing callback to classic Zelda, not just in the rito village theme, but in mood and feel in general. You feel like you’re in an epic adventure fighting insurmountable enemies and saving the world, just like ocarina of time felt when I was a kid

Best temple in TotK and the path to the temple is also so epic, the music builds up really well and the music hits differently...every time it makes my skin tingle~

this is by far the best boss in botw/totk imo. the music, the buildup, tulin, the fact you can just beat colgera without ANY weapons?? it's so fun idc

Any other longtime Zelda fans here who are also Shadow of the Colossus fans? Aside from the heart-slamming return to the Wind Waker music, this epic theme really reminds me of the gorgeous music from that old all-boss-battle PlayStation game.

The Wind temple was definitely my favourite and the most fun out of all temples💚

I think there's a reason nintendo was pushing us to do the rito portion of the regional phenomena first. This was easily one of the most epic quests in any game ever!

This is definitely tied for my favorite boss theme, this is incredible and it fits so well, the only one close to matching it for me is Koloktos from Skyward Sword.
