The ribbed seals that ride metal to metal can be very problematic. Cat final drives are very similar except for being o-ring style and not ribbed, i believe referred to as duo-cone seals. If people never see this they dont know that this is tge reason clearing old fence is frowned upon and best avoided with dozers. Wire will destroy the seals and create final drive leaks, hence always looking at parked dozers for the tale tale sign of final leaks.

It is always a great deal of entertaining to watch when Hunter is "in the house" and working with you guys. My wife and I still have a 16 and 17yr old boys in house and that is the way we raise them. It's good for them to be on the receiving end of some shots, builds a bond and character and makes them feel a part of rather than just standing on the outside of things.

Congratulations Tucker for graduating high school. The least you have demonstrated that you can continue for 8 years in grammar and 4 years in high school and finish a commitment that's very important and later in life. When you're looking for a job or doing something, people will look at that. The triple nickel backhoe in the shop has only one thing in common, the decal on the sides of it. I got quite a kick out of the phrase "energy drinks, Ibuprofen, and a life of misery. I did a lot of weight training in the service training for the army olympics. I got home, quit training and five years later, couldn't close my hands or raise my arms over my head. Pain was horrible and lasted till I worked at detraining myself. Just being oneself and not overdoing things can go a long ways. I still believe in being all you can be, just use moderation. So enjoyable to see a happy bunch working together and not looking like someone is going to hang for smiling. Happy Trump was able to avoid being assassinated from our security people ... might mention that the leader of the security outfit was a security guard for cheetos... obama administration appointed her to be the leader... or was it Biden, who cares as long as he is elected and we start making things in america again. Its going to take time to get our runaway inflation under control.

Gonna be one smooth dozer!….so to remove the idler rod you torch it off flush so you got nothing to work with to pry it out!….I got to remember that trick!…..oohhh!

I live in "RUST BELT" anti-seize does nothing to stop corrosion its thread lube. Like on my Dad's Kenworth 8 bag rear suspension legs with alum blocks with bolts going through it. We filled holes, coated bolts and had anti-seize all over by the time we got done. 1 year later putting new bushings in again all bolts stuck again and same fight getting them out again. No anti-seize there it was all gone. Over the years I've seen people use anti-seize fill every hole, coat every bolt and does nothing to stop corrosion. Dad used chassis grease and guess what didn't have to fight bolts they all came out. Not sitting there with 3/4 drive rattling the crap out the bolts like before
