loved your journey >w<
ОтветитьLove this so much!
ОтветитьAmazing art and Amazing channel! Can't wait to see what else you can come up with! Thanks for the resources so I can start on my own game dev journey!
ОтветитьThank you so much,it’s really helpful for me.
ОтветитьI just started learning Pixel art but I don’t have artistic background. I really enjoyed the video. Please keep sharing so ppl like me get inspired.
ОтветитьI was struggling with starting small. I just felt unsatisfied with everything. I was able to find what felt to be the right size for me, which is 100×100. I used it even when I draw something that maybe more fit with smaller canvas size.
Limiting colors is really helpful for me. I was never good with coloring, and still struggling to this day, I just used those available palettes on the internet.
I started with 4 color and gradually added more. Still very overwhelmed by more than 8 color tho.
I love your castle and cherry blossom! The camel was also really cool, and I loved the spider plant shading in your last piece, the cat and bird one. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьMusic from pocket ants?!?!
Id tecognize it anywhere
i also do not have an art background but I always wanted to get into pixel art, great inspiration
ОтветитьWow I actually found an underrated channel before 2024 ends. Great video.
ОтветитьGreat Video!
Ответитьthank you!! <3
ОтветитьThis brings back memories! I did pixel art and animation converting NES titles to PC computers using Deluxe Paint.
ОтветитьNice progress, I'm just working on some pixel art now for my college project. I hope I won't get burn out
ОтветитьAs an anxious procrastinating person this was motivating
ОтветитьGreat video! I've been looking to start pixel art for a while, but always felt intimidated. Thanks to your inspiring video I just finished setting up my tablet and about to start my journey!
ОтветитьStarting too small can be demotivating because they're so basic and potentially harder because each pixel becomes a larger proportion of the sprite.
I would advise starting with just lineart as it's the most similar to sketching and gives you a feel for how to create lines and shapes with pixel art. It also helps you learn to keep your work readable since you're not relying on color and shading to distinguish various shapes. You can also do silhouettes which help with proportions.
Deconstruct and trace over existing pixel art that you like. It's much easier than doing other art studies since you can literally look at it pixel by pixel. Then try to combine bits and pieces from other people's art to kitbash your own sprites and scenes. This will get you used to making more complex figures that feel unique even though they use parts from other works. The act of then unifying those pieces will help you learn to adhere to a particular style creating a more cohesive look.
I'm also not very experienced in pixel art or drawing but I've been held back a lot by trying too much at once making it impossible for me to figure out what parts in particular I need to improve on. A more focused approach where I practice a particular skill has been the most helpful and engaging for me because I can identify problems quickly and immediately look for how to improve that specific skill.
Amazing video, also i would have liked if you went day by day. For example day 14 i watched said tutorial and dree this piece and so on
ОтветитьFor Pixel Art, I love Pixquare! It's just like Procreate but for Pixel Art on iPad 😄
ОтветитьLove the editing quality and the presentation. Your art is amazing, so keep it up!
ОтветитьI just recently started with pixel art, and the small canva was really good for me (i don't have artistic background) . i do feel comfortable with that size. You content looks so good and inspired me to follow with this ❤..
ОтветитьThose small drawings are so cute! 🥰 The camel, the playing card, and the room are really detailed and that's probably why I love them so much!
ОтветитьWhat brush do you use to make the pixel art, and what brushes do you use normally?
ОтветитьThanks for your great video! I have so many ideas I want to bring to life with different designs, but my drawing and sketching skills aren’t very good. What can I do? Is there a way to make it work?
ОтветитьI'm surprised that your approaches to pixel art is 90% the same as me, just in different orders. I've dropped it for a few years now but I really want to pick it up again if I have time and health for it. Anyway, great video, best wishes to your pixel art journey.
ОтветитьI've been thinking about learning pixel art for quite some time, your video really motivated me to finally start
ОтветитьThanks for watching! I’m still a beginner, but I hope to share my pixel art in a game dev video soon!
What type of game would you like to see?
