Aun conservo uno y me encantaría qué lo repararas estoy en México.

This unit was released in 1985. A good friend of mine got one for Christmas that year. Great job even dealing with the fiddly bits. And you would take great benefit from having an ultrasonic cleaner.

Sanyo is a nice company. Nothing too of the line but never garbage either.

Things were manufactured in a way that could be repaired. No adhesives instead of screws, no parts matching, almost no circuit boards that could not be repaired. We need to go back to this. Modern technology engineered to be repaired and not discarded

I didn't see any lubricants when reassembling the player, was it skipped?

The overall looks are incredible, but what about sound quality? The audio head needs to be adjusted to get the clearest audio using a 1khz tape, also those early Matsushita capacitors are probably all out of spec.
