Admiral Spruance: We'll do it the old fashioned way. A slugging match between BB's.
Admiral Mitcher: Not if I can help it!
The power of naval air power of the United States Navy
ОтветитьEven if they beached the Yamamoto it would blow up in a day unless the island had really really good aa which the Japanese don’t have so it would just be a supply ship
ОтветитьA bit eight grade but fine
ОтветитьIt's pronounced YAH MOT TOE. Also, the music is loud and irritating..
ОтветитьSproo-Anz? Sproo-Enz!
Ответитьah we 25miles well above any american ships -Iowa class 24 mile radar guided range
ОтветитьVirtually all of the names (ships, persons, locations) are mispronounced. You did a lot of research to make this video, you should take the time to give proper respect to the names.
Ответить昔の日本は間違っていた。
アメリカと日本は友人🇺🇸🇯🇵
ヤマトは最高の戦艦だった。
Rangefinders was crap. Torpedo blisters not filled with water….. yeah Iowa could take her 1 v 1.
ОтветитьExtraordinarios los mapas y los gráficos....y la continuación?
ОтветитьThe PART 2 ???????
ОтветитьFYI: The kamikazes sank or damaged 400 US ships. They were really successful.
ОтветитьThat ringing is so annoying I stop watching your video
ОтветитьYa MAH to. 🙄
ОтветитьTruly, the background music is too loud
ОтветитьYo man we're waiting on part two.
ОтветитьHow to sink a Yamato
Step 1: Torpedoes
Step 2: Torpedoes
Step 3: More torpedoes
Step 4: Even more torpedoes
Her and her sister did not go easy.
ОтветитьVery nice Video 👍
ОтветитьYamato, Musashi and Shinano will forever be known as the best ships ever built for the wrong war.
They were hoping for engagements similar to what they had gone thru with the, Russians, massive, open water battles, Battleships slugging it out. Yamato, Musashi and Shinano would have been great at it but by the time they launched, the very short, very limited windows of Battleship warfare had already come and gone.
It’s been 3 months and no update to this video!!!
ОтветитьSper-ance = Spru-ance pronounced Spruence...
ОтветитьYah-MAH-toe …. Not YAH-mah-toe. This “narration” is incredibly painful to listen to throughout.
ОтветитьSome of the pronunciations are odd, so I'm wondering whether this is computer-generated speech.
ОтветитьThis video provides the most concise refutation of the condemnation of the USA for dropping the atomic bomb. It consists of three words; "Yamato" and "Operation Ten-Go".
The Japanese military leadership were preparing to do the the nation and people of Japan exactly what they did to the Yamato and Okinawa. No matter how many Japanese civilians died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, orders of magnitude more would have died if the Japanese leadership had been allowed to do what they were planning to do.
But for the atomic bombs, Admiral Bull Halsey's boast would have come true; "When this war is over, the Japanese language will be spoken only in hell!". Japan survived because of the sacrifice made by the citizens of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
1300 ships !!
That definitely made the Emperor needed a sudden change of his underwear!!
Where’s part 2?
ОтветитьWhere did you get your pronunciations? Absolutely ridiculous that you didn't finish. For that reason I have unsubscribe. Terrible channel.
ОтветитьPlease pronounce the ships name correctly. YA MA TO. Not Yam a to
ОтветитьThe ammount of mispronpunced words just drove my ocd crazy
ОтветитьYou ruined this video with your terrible mispronunciations of names and locations.
ОтветитьSekutu sudah Mengetahui Mereka tidak akan Menang Melawan IJN Yamato apabila Berhadapan Man to Man,Makanya Mereka Mengerahkan 400 Pesawat yang terdiri dari pesawat Pembom,Pesawat Pembawa Torpedo n Masih Banyak
Ответитьexcited for your future videos!
ОтветитьPart 2 when?
ОтветитьVery cool stuff here, I'm a full-time Voice actor and have voiced films for the World War II foundation, Omaha beach during the day, the battle of the bulge and others. We should chat.
ОтветитьThe Allies??? You mean the United States! The U.S. was 85% of that fight in the Pacific
ОтветитьThe writing is questionable. Maybe drop the script into chat gpt and ask it to proofread?
Ответитьwow that was their plan? use their valuable assets in suicide missions?
ОтветитьI'm sorry but your continued mispronunciation of both place names and people's names makes it impossible to listen to your narration. And not only Japanese names, but English names as well. This makes it seem as though you may have at best a passing familiarity with the subject. It's too bad, because your video, animation, and editing skills seem quite good.
ОтветитьGreat graphics but your pronunciation needs work. "Spruance," "Yahagi," and others are incorrectly pronounced, and it's completely distracting for the viewer.
ОтветитьSinking of Musashi please.... it's rarely discussed
ОтветитьCan't wait for the Part 2
ОтветитьThe Musashi was the first to go down 17/bombs and 19/torpedos
ОтветитьLiterally the stupidest ship ever built. It was obsolete even when it was being designed. Never saw any combat until its final suicide mission. It was called hotel Yamato since being stationed on it meant you were always far away from actual combat. The same resources spent on training pilots or making a smaller aircraft carrier would have helped the japanese a lot more than this useless hotelship.
Ответитьthey were scared to face her, so they used many planes with torpedoes like cowards😏
ОтветитьThank you for putting in such great effort for this I really enjoyed it can’t wait for part II. I’m looking forward to watching your other videos too. You deserved a sub.
ОтветитьDespite sounding natural, is this video narrated electronically? I can maybe understand a couple of mispronunciations by younger presenters but seriously, who in heck hasn't heard of the legendary ship Ya-MAH-to? How do you butcher a common name like that? And how in the world do you get ma-REE-der out of mariner?
ОтветитьIs there any video about the Battle of Leyte?
ОтветитьThis is great
