They used the Bruster Buffalo as a carrier plan?
ОтветитьI’m pretty sure I’m going to hell i found it funny every time a plane flipped over the deck
ОтветитьWho played with fire will get burned.
ОтветитьMan, pog camre man. They say warriors are brave, camre man is beyond belief. R.I.P Camre man.
Ответитьthose were the days my friend all those flight deck drills. Having that one fighter stuck with the main gear in the catwalk tail hanging over the side and nose up in the air now that was a sight! Not so good getting run over by the nose gear or the lost of one plane during night ops. nose gear hit the round down slid across the deck then off the angle deck and the ship ran over it. Sorry no survivors......
ОтветитьI have some photos of Blackburn Bucaneers hitting the nets, when my stepdad was serving on HMS Victorious, amazing pictures of the hook missing the wire or bouncing up and ending up in the nets.
ОтветитьMost dangerous places to work
#1 Flight deck.
#2. 7/11, liqueur store cashier
Eric Winkle Brown, was the greatest naval aviator. Great footage xx
ОтветитьCheck the story about John McCain's big oops
ОтветитьHow did the camera man die
ОтветитьWow, you seemed to gloss over John John McCain's starting of the fire a aboard the U.S.S. Forestall.
(Yes, I know it's hard to find data, since the man spent the later years of his life, trying to scrub his legacy clean)
That's the great thing about us humans. We are as a race are repeatedly passing every road block we hit.
ОтветитьSafety wasn't part of the equation at that time, they let men to stupid crazy things 🤣
ОтветитьNo matter how many times I see it I am still never not impressed by that sailor with the cat-like reflexes jumping over that snapping arrestor cable. God Damn Son!
Ответить12 year Navy aircraft mechanic. I still remember holding the belt of my lead the first time I worked the flight deck. USS Constellation FTW!
ОтветитьWow, I used to question why droptanks and napalm bombs looked similar in the past. They ARE the same reused tank!
Ответитьhad to cash back in on that aircraft carrier video... lol
Ответить🇺🇸❤
ОтветитьThe old planes look so light lmao
ОтветитьThis is too old to talk about now.
ОтветитьThe A-6E at night barricade trap was flown by Capt. RAND McNally callsign "Atlas" with VMA(AW)-121. He later transferred to the Navy when the Marines got rid of their A-6's. He was in my squadron VA-304 when they were preparing for the upcoming CQ's on the USS Constellation in the Spring of 1994. He lost control of the aircraft in the break at NAS Alameda, CA and both him and his BN chose to ride the plane a bit further so the plane did not hit some sailboats that always raced at the end of the runway. By doing this, when they ejected, it was to late. Both hit the water in their ejection seats and died. LCDR Rand "Atlas" McNally and LCDR Brian "Sluggo" McMahon both died in this incident. The investigation later said it was pilot error, but a few months later we had a plane going into the break at NAS Lemoore, CA experience the same uncommanded flight and rolls. They recovered from this because they were higher in the break at Lemoore. I was on the repair team sent down. When we put hydraulic pressure on the plane, the whole keel of the plane starting pouring hydraulic fluid out of it. I found the problem as I was the one in the cockpit operating the controls. On a break I was leaning against the fuselage while standing on the wing. They slowly applied hydraulic pressure to check something else when I heard a noise (didn't have my cranial on, oops). It was coming from the chimney area. A square area that went through the fuel cell that allowed hydraulic lines, wires, and flight controls to pass through. The hydraulic pressure side hydraulic libe going to the flaperon had a crack in it and hydraulic fluid was pouring out at 2k PSI. Which drained the flight side hydraulic reservoir really fast. Which caused the loss of control. The second crew used the electrical back up system to land the plane.
ОтветитьThe Brits has the first carrier right?
ОтветитьIt is always amazing to watch the crew running towards the burning plane. That takes a lot of guts and team building.
ОтветитьAnd I thought cameramen were immortal😂🤣😂. RIP though. @NotWhatYouThink this is one of the best videos of all time. Informative?...check👍. Humor?...Next level👌.
ОтветитьCheap propoganda channel 😂
ОтветитьThe guy who double jumped the cable winding back to him, nearly got cut in half. Jesus
ОтветитьGreat informative video
ОтветитьVro won now we’re all coming for that info dawg.
Ответитьyou really gotta do a face reveal
ОтветитьI loved the black and white
ОтветитьI miss the daily uploads
Ответить100/10 for ryanair
ОтветитьCarrier Aviation isn't inherently dangerous, it's merely unforgiving of mistakes.
ОтветитьThey really had to demonetize this :/
ОтветитьMy son playing DCS VR: "Aw crap going off the deck! FLUGTAG!"
Ответитьfantastic footage
ОтветитьИ это армия США?!😂
ОтветитьPoliticians/Deep states declares wars, them not going to wars themselves, they wickedly convince young men to go to wars, to kill and die. Soldiers are mentally blind and the media glorify their stupid acts to attract more young men to put their lives at risk without questioning their politicians.
ОтветитьНеудивительно, что у США так много авианосных групп. Они так долго учились на своих ошибках.
ОтветитьJust a comment here. In viet nam we filled napalm tanks on hanger deck by elevator 3. I know because i was one of the guys doing it. Intrepid, viet nam 66,67,68. Too dangerous and tim consuming on flight deck.
ОтветитьWhich accident was the craziest one?
