The Seiko U.T.D. is a killer option around 1K aswell. Its a ultra-thin watch that uses a fully hand made and fully hand decorated movement. (Calibre 68 and 6810) I recently bought one for 550 euro!! Incredible value for money when you consider its one of the 15 thinnest mechanical watches EVER MADE !!!

I finally fell in love with the Tuna. Maybe it was similar to you with Panerai, I understood why it’s an icon. I was at my AD and just had the bracelet on my Titanium Square (the second Virtual Armor G Shock, the TVB) and I tried in the mini-Tuna which, because of the dial diameter) wore too small and tried on Tuna. The watch journey has been a strange one and it only happened after I sold my old 31mm Patek. Everyone needs a discreet sized dress watch and my antique Hamilton Windsor (Tank style, gold filled) fit the bill.

I’m too active to worry with a precious metal Patek and no watch, outside of your grandfather’s Frodsham, pocket watch should end up a safe queen.

Interesting list, but the G757 "James Bond" watch is surely also one of Seiko's most iconic.

Seiko is actually my favorite watch brand, they're designs has something that gets me every time, even with the watches that I dont really like by them, in México we say "ese es mi cotorreo"

Love the Arnie. Tried it out, the watch looks beautiful but I sold it on because it’s to finicky to set up ( the mix of analog / digital isn’t for me ). I replaced it with the analog Arnie, the tuna. And that one simply refuses to leave my wrist

Great list. My personal faves are the SKX, The Turtle and the Arnie. I'm thinking I need a Samurai now. Never did like the monsters or the tunas though.

Nice lineup. Seiko and Orient are my 2 favorite brands excellent value and great quality. I have a 70s Seiko I inherited from my brother- n-law that has never been serviced and it still works its only 30 seconds a day off. That’s pretty impressive. It hasn’t been worn very much because it looks almost new. I have seen other watches quit working quicker than that.

I have 5 out of the 10 and have been a huge seiko nerd all my life. Now i go to a job where I can't wear a watch and its really impacted my enjoyment of watch rotation :( Hopefully soon i'll be in a position that I will be allowed to wear my watches again.

I’ve loved Seiko since I was a boy. I have many on your list, including the magnificent 6105. It is so very special and my favourite. I now have multiple different Tunas as well. I think they are the most iconic of all Seiko divers. Thank you for the fantastic video 👌

My wife loves her Seiko. I prefer my Hamilton.

At some point I will get a Seiko. But its gonna have to be solar. Additionally the chapter ring and bezel and minute markers will have to line up correctly. 😂😉

T is the letter of the day. One for the first letter of my name. Two for the "Tuna" of which I own two, albeit not Seiko's but they do have the host's movement, NH35A. And three for the "Turtle", SRPA 21 Prospex to be exact.

Yups...! gw setuju Gaes, SEIKO itu ibarat Mobil di Indonesia bahkan di seluruh DUNIA, Seiko itu TOYOTA gaes. Merk yg sangat Branded sekali/ Prestisius, mesinnya bandel alias kuat, disukai Jutaan Ummat, Harganya bersahabat ( yg murah ada, yg menengah ada, yg mahal banget juga ada, ibarat mobil Toyota, Avanza ada/ Murah, Fortuner juga ada/ menengah, Land Cruiser juga ada buat yg berkantong Super Tebal sekelas Sultan Hedon. ). Kalo gak salah gw udah pernah beli 4 kali Jam Tangan Seiko dari berbagai type, tinggal type Monster nih yg kepengen gw beli. Tapi mungkin nanti kali ya, kalo gw punya duit banyak sebab kelihatannya harganya Mahal banget gaes. Kalo bisa sih belinya nanti pas gw liburan ke Jepang sekalian beli Helm Arai plus hape SONY XPERIA. SEIKO plus Arai plus SONY XPERIA Wow...! Iconic Jepang banget Gaes seperti halnya TOYOTA and Miyabi, Hadeeew....! Kalo yg terakhir ini gw mesti minum doping dulu dari DEPKOLT MEMC Gaes....!

I very much love my SPB191 over my Submariner far more accurate time keeper. The titanium is far more wearable than my Rolex after having been rebuilt twice at a cost of 750-1000 it still lost 5-8 mins each month

Japanese watches in my opinion way better than others including swiss makers .

Love it. The pale blue Pressage with seperate seconds movement on a leather strap and a G Shock are going to complete my collection. I've only had my new 5 automatic just over a week, but it's very quickly become my favourite watch, it's hardly been off my wrist lately, and even my Citizen Eco-Drive Chrono, has been worn much less lately. I wanted a green watch for a long time, but will sadly never be able to afford a Rolex Sub Mariner Hulk. I'd like a Samurai as well, but I need to draw the line at 13 watches I feel. I might move a couple on and add a Samurai at some point, but I am happy for now. You have given me a new love for time pieces and I got my newly serviced Rotary Aquaspeed back, with a new Crystal also. I can't thank you enough for this, and my daughter has also caught the bug and adores Hugo. We now watch the videos together, and I explain as much as I can, with my limited knowledge, compared to yourself and Marc.
