How much "Game PC" do you need for Elden Ring?

I used to have a 3090, I upgraded to a 4090 and now Elden Ring runs at max everything 60FPS.

I played it with a rx 470, ran perfectly fine on high settings

I am locked at 60 FPS and my specs are Ryzen 7 5700x with a RX 6700 XT and 32GB DDR4 @ 3200 MHz RAM. No problems with studder 😊

wanna upgrade to the i7-8700k because I'm still on an i7-6700. I have a GTX 1660TI and the game would run so much better. only issue is I cant afford a new motherboard, such a shame they had to change the socket slightly on the 8th and 9th gen CPUs :(

The stuttering is a staple of From Software games. They all do that regardless of how powerful a GPU you have lol.

what software are you using to view the fps and cpu stats?

Haven't played it as much as others commenting, however the time I have played I've loved it. RTX 3080ti i9-10850K

Don't really think more than 60 FPS is important for this kind of game. Bloodborne runs at 30 FPS and everyone enjoyed Bloodborne.

Anyone gets random PC shutdowns when playing Elden Ring? My PC shut down on itself when i reached the blood swamp in Caelid....

The 60fps issue is a fromsoft issue not a console port issue. Plenty of console ports have unlocked framerates and look fine. Fromsoft has always struggled with framerates.

I could run Elden Ring on High/Medium settings with an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, 16 gb ram DDR 4 at 3000 MHZ and an Nvidia 1650 GTX 4 GB Video Ram, barely had any issues, which tells me the game is Optimised very well, even for lower end gaming pc !

Would a 3060 with a Ryzen 5 3600 be enough? I have the ram more than covered

I played it on a 2700x, and an rx580 4g with 16g of ram. Ran fine

Oddly enough, I had an rx 580 and ran the game at medium for 50-55 fps no stutters. I upgraded to a Radeon 6700 xt and the frames improved but after a while they dipped to the 40’s which never happened with my rx 580. I returned the rx 6700 xt today thinking the stutters were hardware related lol.

Will optiplex 3020 be able to play elden ring?

gtx 1070 , 6600Xt runs it just fine. No need for a 3090 or a 3080, thats withotu the horrid DLSS and awful FSR rsolution compensation because they dont want to give everyone correct 144FPS which should be standard today. Maybe the 4000 series. I expect the 4000 series even LOW end cards to be able to run games at 144fps. We are playing on 4K 240 hz moniters soon. 60 fps was ages ago.

should do the giant leap from a gt 1030 to a radeon rx 6600xt
