I caught that too when her friend was on the stand talking about how she knew around the date because it was the end of her finals. And I know finals are typically about a week to two weeks before Christmas break.. that’s always been the standard. Maybe it’s a trade school that could be a possibility or she was just confused as the date.. maybe she had finished and was just waiting to take her exams. I don’t know that was confusing.

And the cadaver dogs I just don’t see how they could not pick up her sent even though she may have been wrapped she was still in the open breeze and goes through cadaver. Dogs can smell underneath the ground and on a body that’s been buried so I’m wondering if the baby was in the trailer or somewhere else it’s just very strange that the cadaver dogs would not pick up on her scent. We’ve seen cadaver dogs pick up on someone sent months later. Especially if it’s a body that is above ground, that part is also confusing to me.

Hi. I'm not convinced that Evelyn died in the bin. The more I thought about it, the more I think she may have died beforehand. My theory was that she suffocaged her with the foil and once she was limp she unsnapped the onesie to check to see if her chest was still moving. Satisfied that she wasn't ,she wrapped her head in the foil to make doubly sure then wrapped her in the blanket and put her in the plastic bag all to disguise any smell and put her in the bottom of the bin, covering her with rubbish that would smell once rotting that would further disguise the smell. I couldn't equate how her foot was visible after removing one bag if the second ME was saying her her knees, feet and face were lined up. The detectives also said upside down with her foot up which didn't equate with what she described. Small matters in the scheme of things. I just kept thinking about the unzipped onesie... Of course, then I started having doubts about whether she had done it or whether the poor, wee soul died because she had been given a lot of cough medicine to sleep and be quiet and died. When Megan finally returned and realised she unzipped onesie to check... and then rather than report it just followed the steps mentioned above and discarded her. I have so many questions. If she just wanted to move on then why not take her body somewhere that she wouldn't be found? ..

What I wanna know is, where was she living during all this time? And it seems that her and Hunter had more than just an encounter. They’re going to the movies, they’re going to the aquarium. He’s introducing her to his grandparents…… What I would want to know is when did she move out of the trailer because she had to take that trashcan over to her and put it in that house?

This is more in depth than the actual trial. I am local to this case and it has haunted me since day one. I also knew immediately when they said that she hadn’t been seen since December that she was gone. So heartbreaking. My daughter is the same age, we even went to the same OB doctor,

In my opinion it's like men who know their victim, they cover their faces with cloth, sheet... She covered little Evelyn's face cause she handle looking at her face anymore. Criminals just don't make sense. I remember 1 crime show where the man literally put a pillow under the woman's head and then covered her with a comforter. Don't get their mind frame and glad I don't.

This is so helpful, but I have a question. If Megan started working at the Chicken Shack on Dec 2, and Gail/Sue babysat Evelyn last week of Nov- first week of Dec (ish) then why do we think Evelyn was left alone at the trailer while MB was working? Wouldn't Evelyn have been with the babysitters during that time? Or am I missing something?

Ive never heard the phrase upsetty spaghetti. And its super cute, and yet will never be able to use it...

All these folks cared about Evelyn, why did Megan not just hand over custody to one of them 😢

OMG! I missed part of the trial. I am sick to my stomach to know she left the baby alone for hours on end.
What a shame the dad didn't go with his gut feeling earlier. I would think the family knew well before all this happened that Megan was telling lies.
Megan doesn't start lying at her age.I would think she was a liar and manipulator from a very early age.

I have a theory. Totally can't support it. I think she left the baby alone too long and she died (still murder by neglect). Baby was stashed outdoors (leaves in hair) until she moved, then without another place to hide the body, she wrapped her up and took her to the playhouse.

Her parents might be addicts and ex-cons but they kept their children alive. They didn't put her in the trash upside down. I'll say it again: the only time she used a trash can was to put her daughter in it. Yes there was some trash in there but there was a hella lot more everywhere in that trailer
