Very, very nice Rod and I'm not at all surprised your wife claimed them straight away.
Are the grinders Ceramic?
Take care my friend.
Cheers, Huw
Good job brother. Where did you get the thumb press grinders if you don't mind? I have some clientele asking for grinders of the sort. Thanks

These are really cool! I hadn't seen these grinders. I love the wood you chose.
ОтветитьI really like these, lovely wood. Do you still save the shavings for other projects?
ОтветитьRod those are awesome man! Great gift idea for Christmas. Im trying to knock out all my gifts early this year from oak around my property instead of doing it a couple days before Christmas 🤣
ОтветитьVery cool.
ОтветитьGreat little project. Cah I ask how you were able to drill the hole all the way through with a chuck connection? I will look for those kits.
ОтветитьWell as Susan is the boss then she should always get first dibs.😁😁 by the way Rod I noticed you didn't have your work watch on or the protector. Take care stay safe😘😘
ОтветитьYEP SIMPLE turning but so so beautiful. weldone.
ОтветитьNice job Ron. I was checking the notes to see if you mentioned were you purchased them, and saw you're in IN. I lived a little further north in Fort Wayne for 20 years before I moved to sunny AZ.
ОтветитьRod,
Simple things are almost always nice things. Your salt and pepper mills are nice things. Thank you.
Keep the aspidistra flying!

Beautiful and practical. You wouldn't want to hide these gems away behind a cupboard door when not in use, but keep them visible at all times.
ОтветитьWell done 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe🇨🇦
Ответитьvery nice, be blessed
ОтветитьAwesome 👍
ОтветитьThese are great!
Ответитьhey rod i sent u a picture of a pen i did through your email to share on a video please do thanks my friend take care of yourse and just remember God loves u, God bless. chris
ОтветитьCool project Rod they are awesome, God bless and Sempi Fi
ОтветитьVery nice Rod.
ОтветитьReal nice turning, Rod.
ОтветитьThose are very cool! I can see why you're wife laid claim to them. Lol
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьReally like the simplicity, especially using a wire to burn in the accents.
ОтветитьLove watching you turn. Great project. God bless.
ОтветитьThose are neat grinders. I'll have to get a couple kits and make a set myself.
ОтветитьRod you make some pretty unique items! I’ve never seen this kind of spice grinder! I love to watch your videos!
ОтветитьVery nice little turn Rod. All the best cobber.🤠
ОтветитьSomething so simple yet so beautiful.
Bill
Another good video.. I ALWAYS enjoy your voice over commentary and especially your suggested scriptures. So many men tend to hide their Christian beliefs, GOD bless you for standing firm!!!
ОтветитьIt seemed that the chisels were also burnishing the walnut as they were cutting. I had never seen that before
ОтветитьColossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning set of condiments and beautifully finished. Wow.
ОтветитьThese look awesome! Maybe I missed it, but where did you find these kits? Most of what I can find are larger hand grinders instead of the thumb press
ОтветитьNice grinders. Forgive me if you’ve covered this in an earlier video but the wire with the handles, what kind of wire is it and is the purpose solely to burn/darken the wood in the grooves?
Thank you.
simple elegant & useful! I know that your wife will use them for many meals! Thanks Rod!!
ОтветитьLove these, so unique!!
ОтветитьGreat choice using maple for salt and walnut for pepper. Different woods yet they still match due to the style.
And, of course, everything you make defaults to being your wife's unless and until she officially releases the item. It makes for a smooth-running household.
Very nice set, Rod! I like the elegant but practical form you chose. Be well.
ОтветитьI want a set, too! These would be so handy for cooking . . . One handed grinding! Absolutely love them!! Missed your voice. Love your voiceovers! Amen to your Bible verse, and Semper Fi!
ОтветитьWhere did you get the metal parts?
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьThanks Top
ОтветитьThey look a little like duck callers. ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьBeautiful work sir
ОтветитьAnother excellent project. "the wife already claimed these as her own.", sounds familiar somehow? My wife hovers over the lathe anytime I'm turning to ensure she can call dibs before my mom.
ОтветитьThey look very good
Ответитьwho makes the kits
ОтветитьLol. RHIP
ОтветитьCould you share where I could find the kit you used. I've not seen this punch-type dispenser.
ОтветитьGreat job on those 2 mills. I have the same one and hope my turnings turn out as well as yours. Could I ask you what you used to mount the blank to the headstock after you had drilled the holes?
Ответить
