First time seeing young North Americans not fussy about polish food :))) That food looks good Im hungry now.

Polish food is so underrated, as is Eastern European food in general. It has that classic warmth and wholesomeness perfect for winter, like a lot of European food, but Poland does it better than most countries.

Cheesecake was brought to the States by the Europeans. It was a very common dessert in Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Switzerland and so on. Poland wasn't different in that matter. There are different variations here in Poland but we usually have the plain one with sugar glazure on top, not the one mixed with chocolate cake like you had.

Schnitzel has been popular here in the XXth century but it's obviulsy a German dish. We have chicken cutlets as not many people make schnitzel at home. It's similar though. :)

There are various types of crepes but the ones you ate are usually eaten by the Poles in restaurants during vacation/summer holidays. The home version of crepes are usually without filling though.

You haven't tried the most famous soup we have - żurek. It's a soup made of fermented rye with various ingredients - these consist of polish sausage, potatoes, onion, mushrooms or pork belly. There are version with boiled egg.

I did enjoy the video but sometimes it's hard to actually understand you when you talk and eat at the same time. All best to you though! :) Greetings from Poland.

Naleśnik był jakiś dziwny i nie smażony na maśle i ogromny . Serniki to Polska specjalność i jakoś dziwnie jedliście tylko spód . Z ciast do tradycji należy makowiec . Na nowy rok moja mama robiła torcik makowy z polewą czekoladową i jedzony nazimno - dla mnie najlepsze ciasto na świecie . A z pierogów najlepszy jest z jagodami polane śmietaną inne jak z serem , z ziemniakami , zmięsem , z kapustą i grybami też są smaczne , ale sycące . Kluski śląskie te z dziurką nie przepadan są dla mnie za mdłe .

i like tymbark juice. still buy it in Canada at the Polish plaza. All this food should be heated or pan fried, especially the crapes. well except the salads.

It's seasoned. Yes it is! It's only white suburban American peeps that don't know how to season their food.

In Poland a lot of people don't like beets too but there is a side dish that is more sweet and sauted it's actually delicious. There is also traditional beet soup that is just perfect.

Polskie dania gdy się spożywa smakują lepiej jeśli je się łączy. Kluski śląskie same się na ogół nie spożywa. Oczywiście można, ale bardziej smakują z sosem, bo są gumowate i miały one być w zastępstwie w kuchni polskiej zamiast ziemniaków. Bardziej polecałbym kopytka (nie sugerować się nazwą. Nazwa ta wywodzi się od kształtu w jaki sposób jest uformowane ciasto, gdyż przypominają z kształtu małe kopytka). Dobre pierogi i kopytka są najlepsze jeśli ciasto z zewnątrz jest opieczone lub podsmażone na lekki brązowy kolor smakują z mięsem serem i wieloma innymi dodatkami podanymi w zależności od preferencji smakosza. Spożywanie samych Klusek Śląskich nie da odpowiednich wrażeń smakowych jeśli ktoś je szuka. Wiele dań jak widziałem przez obcokrajowców jest spożywane w taki niezorganizowany i czasem niechlujny sposób mieszając wszystko Ogólnie jednak źle nie jest. Tylko do pewnych dań nie stosuje się np, sosów kupionych przez przypadek. Oczywiści gusta są różne i z nimi nie dyskutuje się aczkolwiek piszę o tym z własnego małego kulinarnego doświadczenia. Jeśli już to lepiej spytać szefa kuchni lub obsługi jeśli się nie wie, co doskonale rozumiem ludzi spoza Polski dla których wiele rzeczy jest nowych i czasem językowo z wyborem meni czują się zagubieni jako turyści. To co panie jadły to typowy polski posiłek zrobiony w prosty sposób. Jednak w wykonaniu prawdziwego szefa kuchni może mieć lepszy smak i inny pomysł na posiłek nawet to samo danie. Yeah the apple mint tymbarks are super polish thing. I live in the states from poland for almost 15 years and to this day i still buy the apple mint tymbark.

Since they started to add SUCLAROSE insted of SUGAR since start of 2022 this drink taste like crap!!! Never buy it!!!

Polish-American guy here... I can say those drinks are not necessarily "traditional," but they're commonly in modern grocery stores. A "traditional" softdrink in Poland might be something called "kompot." It's a red colored, mixed fruit-punch that you can get in a cafe/restaurant and people often make their own at home.

Hi! You made a few mistakes. The sauce was for dumplings with a hole in it. SILESIAN DUMPLINGS (as they are called) without sauce and cold, must have tasted a bit strange. The pancake was so white, because you need to fry it on both sides in butter until it is golden brown, so that it is slightly crispy and WARM. Greetings to you
