What a treat.
ОтветитьMore bass trombone please.... and want to hear that pedal note in this piece :)
ОтветитьVery dull! Give me Beecham, Munch, Tilson-Thomas or Davis any day! I never tire of these.
ОтветитьDemolay suggestion
ОтветитьIt, in my opinion, this rendition lacks some fire. I feel that it omits the darkly humorous aspect that I thought Berlioz wanted... I love the versions where the brasses are louder and the march is more emphasized by the bass drum. I have a copy on cd that really satisfies... unfortunately it was burnt back in the days of Napster and I don't know who the orchestra and conductor are.
ОтветитьStrangely lacking in fire for me. Weird, lazy cello bowings too.
ОтветитьIt just shows how little I know for I thought the performance was absolutely superb, it left me feeling relieved to have kept my head.

Ответитьdesole mais cette musique n est pas a mon gout jaime pas
ОтветитьWhy can't you hear the bass trombone when the full brass comes in?
Ответить我的最爱!当情绪低落的时候可以获得一些快乐和正能量。
ОтветитьI love your recommendations
ОтветитьAwful performance; awful filming and vision mixing.
God Almighty, we are seeing this repertoire buried alive -- yet everyone goes on *getting paid*...
Great camera work, I love how it shows the main instrument being played
Ответитьكان رائع! شكرا جريلا👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿👍🏿💖💖
ОтветитьThe brass sound produced here completely misrepresents what Berlioz intended! These modern French horns are wrong. Only surpassed in wrongness by the trombone section. Trombones in Berlioz’s orchestra were of a dramatically smaller bore and brighter! This is like replacing 1963 Corvettes with 1958 Buick Roadmasters! If Berlioz wasn't already dead, this performance would most certainly be the lethal blow that finishes him off! Battle is responsible for this musical fraud!
Ответитьgenius!
ОтветитьPut some ice on this heat dawg 😫🥵🔥
ОтветитьI feel so bad for whoever plays the second tuba part, you’re only in for like like 2 minutes at the end
ОтветитьThe 1st trombone part sure is a struggle, hitting that eb at the top without using an alto trombone is impressive for anyone
ОтветитьLa Grande Vadrouille
ОтветитьWho can dislike this? Sir Rattle is never RATTLED! Always a consummate director who doesn't have to "command" respect from his orchestras, he just EARNS it!
ОтветитьBravo to the bassoonists
Ответитьdidnt know there were 2 parts for tuba all tuba in school play same part
ОтветитьThis piece can be addictive, we’ve been learning about this piece I’m school and I pretty much wanna marry it
ОтветитьKey of Bb major I think
ОтветитьIt’s a good recording I just wished there was more pedal during the march from the bass trombone
Ответитьwhat's the genre of this among the 4 options:
1) symphony
2) ballet
3) Sonata form
4) concerto

ОтветитьI played this song in high school, I adored it and we lovingly called it the Jellyfish song with the bassoon parts being so light and bouncy. I don't play anymore but it brings me back to when I loved playing this instrument, it's bittersweet, I loved the instrument but my program made me absolutely hate playing music in general. Makes me want to pick it up again but life is busy and expensive. Anyways! This is a lovely and astounding performance I wish I could have seen!
Ответитьbass trombone part is the best
ОтветитьVery nice!
ОтветитьSadly there is no snare😢
ОтветитьLindo! Obrigada às divindades musicais!
Ответитьnice
Ответитьラトル氏のベートーヴェンは少し聴き辛いと感じていたが、これも然り。
多くの指揮者と、曲に対する解釈が違うのだろうか。
