Total musical perfection, amazing, such skill and sheer hard work, and a measure against which any choral group will be comparing themselves, but, and am I being just a bit churlish here, there's a loss of something simpler or spontaneous in our Christmas music tradition. For instance, Gaudete, Kings Singers vs Steeleye Span? Unfair I know, but just a thought.......but of course I can still listen to the Kings Singers any day with the greatest pleasure.
